New reveals out of London, per Twitter:

Hallows Eve (new pinless body, mask accessories)

Spider shot

Tombstone (suited, crowbar accessory).

Looks like that might be it - presentation moved onto GI Joe.

Still just Jack for me then, I guess. Maybe Tombstone and Hallows on heavy discount. Disappointing reveals for me, but I suppose it’s my fault for reading all the wishlists and getting my hopes up.

Tombstone looks great, I'll be getting him for sure. Glad he comes with two heads.

Never heard of Hallow's Eve or Spider-Shot before. A quick google search indicates that he wasn't even called that in the comics?

I can’t find anything about Spider-Shot even using Google.  What’s his story?

Wow, Marvel's really pushing that new Hallow's Eve character. Shame that a character that new is getting a figure this fast when a mainstay like Balder, who has been one of Thor's main supporting characters almost since the start is still completely figureless after 20 years. 🙁

Few things:

1) first post back. Weird that there is no DM feature. Also weird that I have to prove I’m not a robot AND that I’m a human. Seems discriminatory against mutants.

2) This wave looks great, and I’m glad to get a better version of my favorite Spidey. Looks like that Last Stand figure has a good potential for the torso to be reused for Overdrive. Not quite sure what the legs should look like (art is inconsistent), but I’d be fine if they just put a new helmeted head on that body.

3) Regarding the discussion about retro vs BAF waves, I think the convo arrived at the wrong conclusion, and I’d hate to see Hasbro’s customer engineering efforts make fans think they actually want to get LESS for the same price.

If there is a reason retro card figures sell better than BAF wave figures it’s because those character selections for retro and non-BAF waves are what fans want more. Hasbro is intentionally putting the characters with more appeal in packages without BAF parts, and we are buying them because we really want those figures. Also, characters that Hasbro thinks are less likely to sell individually are in BAF waves because they hope fans who dont want that figure might buy it to complete the BAF.

It seems like most of us open our products anyway, so the retro card only looks good for the few minutes before we tear the package open. There’s no way I’d not buy any of the figures because they included a random piece in the package, even if I for sure knew I wasn’t going to complete the figure.

Bottom Line: dont let Hasbro Jedi mind trick us into thinking retro waves without BAF pieces are somehow more desirable. They are the same product with less accessories for the same price.

I have Scarlet Spider on the pizza Spidey buck just like I USED to have regular and black suit Spidey on the pizza buck.  But I upgraded the other two to the newer style buck and for uniformity's sake I told myself I'd go in on a new SS if/when he got made.  He should have the same body type, after all, since he's a clone.  Purchase justified!

Now to quick put my vintage SS on ebay while I can still get something for it.

“Spider-Shot” is what Hasbro are branding the Earth-8351 Spider-Man, better known as Assassin Spider-Man. He originally appeared in a What If? one-shot back in '08 – “What If? Spider-Man vs. Wolverine.” It was a sequel to Spider-Man vs. Wolverine. That Peter became Wolverine's apprentice and the two were, like, C.I.A. agents or something (it's been awhile since I read it). Pete modified his web-shooters to also fire bullets.

Mostly, it's just a good-looking Spidey costume, one which I think might've been based on an unused Alex Ross design for the first Raimi Spider-Man movie?

Tombstone takes it for me. Love the bulky suit body, a nice addition to the repertoire of suit bodies.

Been wanting Assassin Spider-Man a long time too! Last one I really want from Spiderverse is Spider India. Maybe Steampunk Spider-Woman, but that would need a lot of work.

I had to google "Assassin Spider-Man" to find anything, and the Wiki's I did find never referred to him as Spider-Shot. Looks like he was from a What If? comic from 2008, and then appeared later during some Spider-Verse stuff. I'm guessing Marvel decided he needed a name, just like they did with Ghost Spider.

Spider-Shot is Assassin Spider-Man. I guess it makes sense they don't want to slap that on a package. Very excited to be getting him, he's been on my shortlist of needed Spider-variants for years now!

Anyone remember the "Spider-Man vs Wolverine" mini-series from the 80s? Assassin Spider-Man is from a "What If..?" tale that that follows that series up in a different direction, where the events of that story see Peter losing his moral center and deciding to partner with Wolverine to learn to use his powers to put threats down permanently. He plays a decent role in the very first Spider-Verse series, which is where I first came across him.

Is it too much to ask to get the Spider-Man variants down to 2 instead of 3 per wave?
