That Odin is just spectacular. It’s going to be popping up on all kinds of top 10 of the year lists. So much detail, and all the metallic paints too. Now I just need a definitive Simonson Loki to go with him.

As for Brian Blessed (or BRIAN BLESSED, as he’s usually spelled…), I saw him around London a few times back in the day, and he’s a surprisingly little guy, huge voice notwithstanding. Still a brilliant guy though.

According to Hasbro Pulse, my Sentinels are Shawn Michaels:  They have left the building.

Man, I almost forgot to pre order that Punisher and Bushwacker 2 pack.  But I got an order in on Hasbro Pulse.  It looks like in early September the Warlord Professor X will ship.  Do you guys think they will release that figure again down the line but with the gold armor and purple highlights with the black instead of the silver armor and blue with the black?

Surely they will, right?  I feel the gold and purple is more iconic from the cover than the silver and blue within the pages of the comic in X-Men 275

I got Punisher on Pulse too, hopefully that October date is right.

I really want the Xavier in Shi'ar Armor from X-Men '97 which was gold, but also more armored.  You can get there with a kitbash or just enjoy both figures, assuming it happens!  It's a cool look and kind of a novelty.

Is this the thread to talk about the Sentinels? Mine arrived today and I have yet to successfully pose this figure in any pose I want without it falling over immediately. Not only is the figure gummy but the ROM on the hips is some of the worst this line has ever produced - almost zero backward movement and because the ankles are useless the figure can't do anything except stand exactly straight.

Really disappointed in this.

Glad I passed on these for the dislike I have for the neon colors.  However that doesn't bode well for my wanting traditionally colored sentinels that can actually be posed.  Your description sounds like they should be buried up to their necks so you can have an X-Men: Easter Island Adventure.  I guess all they were meant to do was quite literally be able to hold the giant rock.  Disappointing.

I'm sooo ready to see the Secret Wars wave. That has been my most anticipated anything since its listings were shared. Hope it's not a huge letdown like the F4 retro wave that I was also so eager to finally see.

I had totally forgot these came two in a box and hastily at work when the pre-order dropped pre-ordered 4. I almost had a fit when I checked my bank account and saw what Pulse charged me. I then went to the Pulse site and saw why. I have them and I have to agree with Schizm.

I honestly meant to cancel the Sentinels but I wasn't paying attention and they charged and shipped so now they are sitting here unopened and I can't decide if I want to even open them.

It should be very easy to get your money back on these if you decide you don't like them in hand.  That's my thought process when I ordered mine, anyway.

Mine have arrived but I went out of town....can't check them out until tomorrow.

Got the new Venom today. This body has almost no range in the neck, and he really needs to be able to look up.

Got my sentinels today too. I forgot they came with a rock.

The ankle pivot sucks, but it works enough to stand a bit more than just vanilla straight.  XManny87 showed the max pivot you can get in this shot below from his review.

Didn't realize the boots were a cut joint at the top. That does help with the standing.

Wish these guys were an inch taller - the Retro Sentinels look great on a regular shelf and these guys blend in with everyone else on the shelf.
