So... I got an order in at BBTS when it was listed at $35.   Think they will honor or cancel?    

I'm with everyone else on this one. $35 seemed like a great price, $40 seemed correct, and $50 is too much. Putting this next to Ketch Ghost Rider or the Heroes for Hire set seems like a real disparity.

I've been using the Marvel Select Phoenix raptor since forever, so I'm ok sitting this one out unless it can be had for less later on. Will be interested to see some Mafex comparison pics.

I probably would've ordered one if she had sculpted boot tops. For now I'll plan to use the MAFEX figure. I can buy this down the line if it somehow blows the MAFEX out of the water.

I sold my loose one from Walgreens a while back and got a pretty penny.  The boob window on the teen girl buck.....I just felt dirty.  She lived in a box almost the entire time I owned her.  Classic New Mutants Magic, please.

@panthercult they honored the pricing goof on the GI Joe Action Soldier and Sailers.

Phoenix is definitely not a $50 release.

Hasbro's rerelease strategy this year is getting a little weird.

I had to leave after I made my pre order, but I was lucky enough to get in my Phoenix pre order on BBTS while it was $34.99.  So, it was only like $41 after tax and shipping.  And BBTS has kept it at that price even after now adjusting the Phoenix set to $49.99 like everywhere else.

I have Magik already, but I pre ordered on off Amazon anyways.  I love the character, and this figure.  So, why not have 2.

I think I said this over in the Star Wars Black Series section, but I really hate Hasbro Pulse's new website. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but as of now it's annoying. 

Damn.  Missed out on Phoenix at $35.  I'm having a hard time wanting to pull the trigger on her.  Just so expensive for her (consequently I don't mind Death's Head being $40).  Add in the lack of sculpted boot tops (or even glove tops), and I may play the waiting game on her.  She is a classic, popular, female character and probably less likely to get too marked down, but I think her high price may result is some slow sales.

That's a big base on Phoenix and they've never really done something like this before so I have a feeling this is a "testing the waters" price.  It's still not worth $50.  I missed the $35 price so this one's a pass.  If a sale comes around great, if not that's OK.

I do feel like $40 feels like a better price for this Jean. Maybe $45 since the phoenix is basically only reusable with 3 characters. $50 feels steep. At $35 though I felt like I was getting away with something and... yeah. We'll see if BBTS honors it. If they do that's cool of them, but I'll understand if they cancel the order. 

Yeah -  I'm waiting to see.    Like -  I order alot of stuff through BBTS -  like way too much stuff. - like over 50 pending preorders worth of stuff -  so maybe they'll be good eating a $15 hit on this one figure for me?

@panthercult I feel you. I've only got 12 items on preorder, but then I've got like 4 more in my "saved for later" in my cart. I'm trying to either talk myself out of some of the stuff I've got earmarked, or talk myself into selling more of what I have. Gotta keep the collection in some form of equilibrium. My apartment isn't getting any bigger.

Was able to order one on EE for $35 which I thought was the correct price as well. For $50 it's a reach and I would fully expect it to go on sale.
