The new Hasbro Pulse website is ugly on a computer screen.Hope
they're not done tweaking it.
The Pulse app update is terrible. They took away favorites now I can’t track items I’ve had my eye on in one spot.

That's a bummer, I liked that feature too.
This is a good FYI to everyone though - Hasbro did a rework of the Pulse app/website, and it seems to require a password reset on your account and updating the app if you use that. Go ahead and do both now so you don't get caught out while trying to snag SDCC exclusives!
@h-bird Thanks for the heads up. Hate having to update my password like that. Good to get it over with now.
Glad to help! Just FYI after downloading the app and resetting my password last night (and confirming the new password worked on both app and mobile browser) I had to reset the password AGAIN today to get logged in - I use a password manager (OnePass) and I know I had the right one saved, so I'm blaming Pulse. Worth checking after you reset just to be sure!
For the last few days I've been fiddling with this new Luke Cage from the 2-pack and, as I mentioned yesterday in the 85th anniversary thread, it's a well-engineered, aesthetically-pleasing figure. Well, the thought occurred to me that, with a different lower body, I think we have most of the ingredients for a killer Doc Samson. I mean, the neckline is not rectangular, but even I might be inclined to forgive that if it means we finally get a proper classic replacement for that embarrassing, horribly-engineered, fubar Dirk Simpson Hasbro gave us back in the dark days.
Plus, I'm pretty sure they're designing everything with their state-of-the-art CAD rendering technology these days so, it might not be so difficult/costly to retool a new upper torso with the proper neckline? I dunno. Is it the correct height?
Thoughts?
I hope that’s the case. I’d very much love a new Classic/original costume Doc Samson. His costume has always been one of my all-time favorites.
Very much prepared for a new Doc Samson, and the new Luke (which I haven't opened yet) looks like a great body for him. I'm surprised he hasn't come close to cracking the top 10 yet.
I hope that we get the vest wearing Doc Samson next. 🙂 I like the late 80s to mid 90s look. 😀

Thanks for the heads up. Yea they really changed their site; looks like they're no longer using the off-the-shelf Shopify software for it now. FYI when they force you to reset your password you can easily just set it to the same thing it already was--I did that and it didn't complain about the password already being in my history.
I was surveying the quantities for 7/21 on popfindr. There are a couple stores with only one Warbird. Most stores have either 8 or 10, but one store has nine. Having an odd number or only one left seems...odd, when a figure is streetdated.
And that is the frustrating thing about Target's street dating policy. It would be one thing if they snatched it out of your hand and you knew it was also going to get pulled from the shelf and be safely kept in the back so you can come back on release date and get it. But I hear so many stories about how they get taken away but then another employee just overrides it for the next people and they aren't there for release date. It always depends on who is supervising the front when you check out.
The only thing that's consistent about Target over the past two years is inconsistency--EVERYTHING is unreliable in terms of their inventory tracking and order fulfillment now. So they're consistently inconsistent, and every possible iteration of failure seems to happen randomly on everything related to inventory.
I looked up Warbird on Popfindr for the Richmond, Virginia area, and almost every store within 100 miles is showing 9 in stock. One store that's in Stafford, Virginia is showing 1 in stock as mrboshek is seeing around him. The failure there could be they did screw up and send them 1, or maybe they actually have more and Target's public web interface is just reporting them wrong. At various times over the past few years I've seen Target's internal store computers reporting completely different inventory counts than they're reporting publicly to sites like Popfindr, so who knows what it is. I'm not all that curious to delve into whatever Target may have screwed up this time, but this is easily verifiable by calling the stores showing 1 stock and asking customer service to see if they have Warbird in stock. I certainly wouldn't jump to the idea that employees are hoarding Warbird--just assume anything that looks awry with Target these days is Target screwing things up again in some difficult or impossible to predict way.
Has anyone heard if Target actually is street dating Warbird so that you can't buy them at the registers? They're completely random as to which figures they do that with.
@enigmaticclarity yeah she is street dated. Several reports on Reddit of her being taken away but also some reports of her having been "acquired".
