I mean how many training uniform bodies do they need. Female short teen (Magick, Wolfsbane & FA Kitty) & female tall teen (Dani, Karma & Magma). And a tall male teen for Cannonball. Sunspot can just be fired up on a generic male teen body. Could reuse them for FA Marvel Girl, Angel and Cyclops too.
That's interesting - I guess I don't think of a reissue as precluding another version of the character getting made - more of a quick way to get a demanded figure back out, few resources required. If anything, it makes me suspect there's a new Magik just around the corner.
Oh, see, I think Marvel definitely does. Especially for a character they don't see as top tier from a sales standpoint. With someone like Spider-Man, Iron Man or Wolverine you can get away with that - sure, but Illyana? maybe not.
The way I see it is this - there are two possibilities here. Either - this is actually left over stock from the initial product run that Walgreen's didn't accept, that Hasbro are now sending out to others... in that case - it probably wouldn't have any impact on future plans at all - it's just pallets of stock they found in a warehouse they are "re-releasing"
Or, because there is a perceived demand and the original Walgreen's stock didn't fully meet that demand they did another run of the figure to sell. If that's the case - then I do think it would absolutely push back plans for any release of a new Magik figure. The character isn't A-list or high profile enough to warrant multiple figures in production in quick succession. I just don't see it.
Did anyone have random issues with ordering Venom from Target today? I don't know if there was a limit - I tried to order 2 in the same order and it was immediately cancelled. Every subsequent order for 1 or 2 Venoms was also cancelled. None went through. Haven't encountered this before.

From a production standpoint, I've always been under the impression that the long lead times had to do with developing, approvals, prototyping, and cutting the actual molds. Production and shipping can't be done overnight, but that first piece is where a lot of the investment (time and money) goes.
I could totally imagine another Magik is currently being developed, and they're releasing this one now cause they think they can make a bit more money on it and people will still buy the new one - same reason I think there's another Surfer coming soon too (plus the obvious FF movie tie-in).
But, as with all things, I have no idea and this is pure speculation. *shrug*

I'm sure this is a re-order. The Walgreens figure came out six years ago. Hasbro did similar with the exclusive Silver Surfer recently.
Magik isn't A-list, but she's getting close, especially with younger/more casual fans. She's appeared in six video games over the last decade, including Marvel Snap and Midnight Suns. She's one of 21 playable characters in Marvel's upcoming Overwatch clone, Marvel Rivals.
As it turns out, a cute blonde girl with a giant anime sword is pretty easy to market.
I probably shouldn't be worried about her getting a new figure soon, but I want it now.
Not to mention, she's been on the big-screen pretty faithfully and played by a fast-rising star. That definitely helped the character's profile, even if very few saw the actual movie.
I still haven't seen the movie but want a figure of her. And Mirage and Wolfsbane.
Where can I find upc codes for figures? I have some photos of figures I gave away but the upc is not clear enough to make out all the numbers
Where can I find upc codes for figures?
Retailer listings online. Some list UPC, some don't. Flip through retailers until you find one who does list UPC.
If you search on "Marvel Legends <insert figure name here> upc" you'll find one relatively quickly.
I was watching a toy Hunt on Youtube last night and at a couple Ollie's stores in Pennsylvania The Avengers 60th Anniversary stuff is showing up. It was on the Disavowed Action Figure Collectors channel. He found The Super Adaptoid, Thor vs Destroyer and Captain Marvel vs Dr. Doom 2 packs all for $20.00. They had 1st Appearance Iron Man and the Quantummainia wave for $10.00 each. Definitely will be looking for the Thor set and maybe even Super Adaptoid!
So, the Destiny/Rogue two-pack is up for pre-order, but I'm on the fence. Will it go cheaper (for Prime Day)? Would I be able to sell off the Rogue if I'm only interested in Destiny?
Doesn't hurt to order it now and see what happens with the price. If it goes on sale before it ships, like with prime day, they'll automatically change your order to the lowest price. Two Black Series figures I ordered that are also shipping in October had $5 knocked off since I ordered them.

I hit up my local Ollie's yesterday and they didn't have anything new. Just the same old same old Eternals and Disney+ TV crap that they've had for months.
@ninjak The Ollie's in the video had all that still plus the new stuff. My Ollie's has all that in droves but they also had two whole solid cases of Scott Lang from Quantumania that they didn't have a couple days ago. They start expanding their Toy section in a couple weeks for Christmas season if they stick to the usual pattern. I bet that's when the 60th Avengers stuff will show up in the majority of stores.
Likewise. PA resident here and hit up my local Ollie's yesterday. Overflowing with Eternals, Multiverse of Madness, and AoA waves.
