Odin is great. Phoenix is definite purchase. Blackheart is cool, but I'm not buying this wave, just to build him.

Don't really care about the rest. Overall...meh.

Looks like Kang gun. I guess he will be in the secret wars wave.

Destiny and probably Dracula once he's discounted for me. I don't know too much about Bloodstorm, but I'm also running out of shelf space heh.

@aleks Ah yeah, I forgot about the non-classic flavor sentinels int hat game. Doesn't seem like that gun though. Feels more specific and a bit more Kirby-esque.

When Ryan and Dwight kept talking about the firebird display, of course I was yelling "Give Us Firebird! Give us Bonita!", then I heard my wife laugh her ass off in the other room and yell out "Nerd".

It's a Kang gun.

Xavier looks good and I respect them for going with the colouring he had in the actual pages, but the gold and pink really pops to me. They teased maybe a repaint so I'd be happy with that compromise.

Brotherhood Rogue instead of Mystique is a HUGE win in my books. And how topical, everyones gonna be doing a headswap with their X-Men 97' Rogue!  This two pack is a contender for buy of the year.

Phoenix looks fabulous, what a great centrepiece (as if you'd display an X-Men team WITHOUT Phoenix and her firebird as the focal point!). The smiling head will never see the daylight. Ab crunch, still horrendous, clunky, eyesore, hateful and homophobic , but if it annoys me too much in hand it'll be relatively easy to fill in.

Odin looks majestic so definitely on board for him. -giggles about more fabric capes-

No interest in the Strange Tales wave but looks good for those into it. The temptation to build Blackheart is certainly there. There was a time when ToyBiz' version was my favourite legend for a hot minute. I'll probably cave and pick up Bloodstorm at the very least.

They showed a hefty enough chunk with SDCC just around the corner. Onwards!

As disappointed as I am with the Strange Tales wave where I want none of the figures but need the BAF, I’m oppositely SUPER happy with Odin. He hits all the right notes for me and I love the different head pieces for slightly different flavors. Always great to hear them name drop Jack Kirby while showing off a figure.

I'm actually OK with the Brotherhood Rogue packed in with Destiny, but that's pretty much it for me for today's reveals.    Odin's a "maybe if I can get him on clearance at some point" - not an essential for me.   The ST wave is a complete skip.

And it's a bummer that Phoenix is Jean, not Rachel.

@aleks I wonder if it isn't for a deluxe Kang that comes with his chair. I have the last release of Kang that came with the Joe Fixit wave, but I wouldn't mind an upgrade if he came with all that.

That Odin looks pretty damn sharp -aside from the boring white fabric cape; it looks so out of place.  Why not go with a gold cape?  I'll be removing that eyesore immediately.

Im glad the Destiny set includes Rogue instead of the rumored Mystique. I was expecting to be on the fence; now it is a definite purchase.

The Phoenix reveal is bleh. Hard pass

Not really impressed with anything else shown, though, Blackheart looks nice; I just have no attachment to him whatsoever.

They are not seriously releasing an updated Phoenix and not using the sculpted thigh-high boots they JUST created.

Tell me they are not.

They showed a lot more today than I expected! My favorites were the previously unmade Destiny, Hellstrom and Lillith.

Odin looks great and will replace the old BAF for me. I'm worried that he's going be like $60 though.

No interest in the movie Venom or the Warlord Prof X.

Love Destiny but hate that it comes with that crappy Rogue. Even though Destiny is a little plain, it's still my 2nd favorite figure of the year so far (behind X-Men '97 Maddy).

Phoenix looks epic, but probably another $60 figure.

The Blackheart wave is very interest but a lot of re-dos here. I'll likely skip Hellverine if he doesn't come with a BAF part. Will wait on the inevitable plain brown suit release that they've teased a couple of times now with this one and the Broodverine. Love Hellstrom and Lillith as previously unmade characters. I like that they went with the armored Dracula look rather than recreainge the classic version like Toy Biz did. I like the Bloodstorm figure. Blackheart, Brother Voodoo and Moon Knight all look like decent upgrades over the prior versions, but I can just never personally get too excited about remakes.

Overall, some great stuff. I'll probably buy everything except Venom, Warlord Prof X and Hellverine.

Man....   what a roller coaster of a live stream.    Some really high points and some wtf lows in there...

Absolutely LOVE the Destiny/Rogue 2-pack.    Of all the versions of Rogue that could be made that I don't have yet this is the one I wanted most.    And getting Destiny, Finally, after all this time makes me happy.    I finally have the complete BoEM line up from Uncanny X-Men 141  and now am just one figure away from being able to have this on my shelf

Come on training suit Kitty Pryde.

And that Odin is gorgeous and glorious and I am happy to have it.

Space Xavier is cool -  does a good job of rounding out the classic Jim Lee cover and is a variant I am not mad at.   It's a Walmart exclusive so hopefully that means easy to get -  though maybe not $5 per figure easy like classic Starlord - and not impossible.

The Phoenix looks nice and the firebird effect is fun but I'm still disappointed it is Jean Phoenix yet again and not Rachael.    I really thought they were finally going to deliver and let us round out our basic Excalibur team,  but no.    It's dumb to be disappointed in a good figure because of your own expectations.

And then the Strange Tales wave.  Sigh.    So much disappointment -  such missed expectations.  Werewolf by Night would have been the easiest lay up known to man for this wave and somehow they bricked it in favor of "Hellverine"  -  look kids its Wolverine but with fire for eyes and claws... kewl.      Bloodstorm is a fine variant but could have been in an X-wave and not soaking up a slot in a wave like this.     Hellstrom is fine -  it's the version we were going to get with the Hell Charger - so that's fine (and should bode well for an eventual Mephisto release).   It's a little bare bones and I'd much rather have his classic look in the bright colors,  but ok.    Likewise, Dracula.   This figure is fine.   I get it -  but it's not the Marvel Dracula I wanted.   I wanted the classic Gene Colan Dracula to go with a classic Werewolf by Night.       And then there's the two big turds in the bowl - another modern Brother Voodoo -  if we have to have him again, can't it at least be a retro version that's different from what you gave us already (twice) and another Moon Knight -  this time with gold jewelry.    Sigh.      That whole wave was just a total let down, man.

Here's hoping San Diego delivers some stuff that gets me pumped way, way up again.
