She-Hulk, Count Nefaria, Wolfsbane and Ikaris just arrived. They are all great!
-She-Hulk is just so gloriously 1980's, you can't help but smile at her.
-The paint aps on Ikaris makes me want Jack of Hearts even more.
-Wolfsbane isn't as orange in person.
-I wish Nefaria was on a bigger body, but he's still awesome.
Canβt wait for that rumored set of Iron Patriot and Taskmaster and Loki. Sounds amazing.Β
Β
Honestly,Β the execution on that set is going to have to be amazing to get me to consider it.Β Β I already have really nice figures of most of the characters in that set and so for $100 spend it's going to have to knock my socks off.Β Β I think a 4 pack is a tricky sell these days.Β Β $100 for one box of characters has to hit just right - otherwise it's 'wait for clearance' in a lot of people's minds.Β Β I am interested to see it though.
Β
I would still be surprised to see this as a multipack set, but thatβs the rumor. Iron Patriot is such a fun character concept, storyline, and aesthetic to me that heβd be worth it for me alone. I loved Dark Avengers, Dark Reign, and Siege. Iβm thinking he will be reusing the Pentagon Armor sculpt.Β
On top of my love for Iron Patriot, I love Taskmaster. Such an amusing villain. And update of him on perhaps the Vulcan body would make a theoretical multipack set worth it as well.Β

Little disappointed on the cord on Nefaria's cape that it floats so independently from the cape but I suppose we all knew it was always going to do that.
@disneyboy I used White Rabbit + MCU Pepper Potts for mine.Β
Β
Β
Really nice work! Why the fishnets over her belly though? Is it because you had to remove the pocket watch? Is that part of her torso sculpt?
Which head did you use? Where did you get the great hat from?
Β
Β
@disneyboy Thanks! The fishnets are because I thought the design looked unfinished with just the shirt. It's White Rabbit's upper torso, MCU Pepper Potts' lower so there's no watch to remove. The head is a cast from a seller on eBay, the hat came with it.
Oh ok, so from the breasts down, its Pepper.
Hmmm - I was hoping to keep the vest. Is the pocketwatch embedded in it, or just glued on?
@disneyboy it's sculpted on, you would have to dremel + sand it down and repaint.
Oh darnit.
They never make it easy do they?
Not true. White Rabbit's watch is a separate removable piece, glued on. The torso will have a couple holes to fill up, but if you can smooth sculpting putty in any way, it should be unnoticeable when repainted.@disneyboy it's sculpted on, you would have to dremel + sand it down and repaint.
Β
Ok cool! Thanks!
Β
And to answer an earlier question, the DCUC Zatanna is painfully thin with weird joints and a flat face, common to the line.
Yeah I just checked my White Rabbit and the watch is just glued on. I'm not sure about the chain but you should be able to scrape it off or sand it down if needed and do as Valenz recommended.
Little disappointed on the cord on Nefaria's cape that it floats so independently from the cape but I suppose we all knew it was always going to do that.
I really don't get the design of his cape at all.Β Why do they keep doing these capes that are primarily held onto the figure with a peg?Β They're ALWAYS terrible.Β Can't stand the capes on MCU Loki, Morbius, the Allfather wave Sentry, etc.Β Design a way for the cape to stay securely on the figure or just don't do it.Β They mostly glue capes on now, so why not glue on Nefaria's cape?Β 😩Β
What I particularly don't get right now is why that cord wasn't integrated into the cape since that cord could have held it onto the figure if they weren't going to glue it.

Isn't/Wasn't there supposed to be something happening either today, or tomorrow, or both days? I think in the UK?
MCM Comic con?!?
