I missed Warbird on Target but I was able to get in a pre-order before selling out with Star Action Figures based in the UK. You pay shipping but you don't pay until the figure is in stock. The price was 19.13 GBP which was on that day equal to $23.95. I pre-ordered four to get a cost reduction in the shipping.
This (apparently polarizing) new Magik costume is now my biggest want.

How is this one polarizing? Also, how the hell old is Magic supposed to be? Roughly? I'm assuming (hoping) in the comics she's in her 20's given how sexualized she is, but her action figure is teen-sized. It was really well executed, nice spread of accessories, but when I looked at it I just saw a teen girl in an S&M outfit. I had to sell her. (I'm also wondering about Jubilee's current general age. Didn't she have a baby? Who was the dad?)
Just give me a Magic in a standard 80's New Mutants uniform. Do the same for all of them, in fact. Tons of easy reuse, Hasbro, why haven't you done this yet?

A lot of people hate the gold costume for a character with blonde hair. For me, it's the happy medium between her ugly boob-window costume and the New Mutants look.
The sliding timescale makes it impossible to say for sure, but I think Magik is comfortably in her early 20s. Jubilee is about the same now that she has a kid. The kid is adopted.
The sliding timescale makes it so the core X-Men stay in their late 20s/early 30s and all their students progressively catch up. I would say Quentin Quire is also in his early 20s now.

Honestly, the execution on that set is going to have to be amazing to get me to consider it. I already have really nice figures of most of the characters in that set and so for $100 spend it's going to have to knock my socks off. I think a 4 pack is a tricky sell these days. $100 for one box of characters has to hit just right - otherwise it's 'wait for clearance' in a lot of people's minds. I am interested to see it though.

Apparently it also might be a 5-pack, according to that guy who leaks everything who gets mad when people don't credit him by name for his leaks.
