I got in the group. I don’t really use Facebook. Occasionally I post a photo on Instagram. Luckily when I do happen to look in on Fbook it’s mostly Reels of Pugs and Boston Terriers. America’s last great hope. 

I wish I could bail on social media, but unfortunately as a small press comics creator, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (to a lesser degree) are critical for networking. Likewise as Scoutmaster of my local Boy Scout Troop, it's how I communicate with parents on days other than meeting days.

I kept getting junk emails for a long while from companies who thought I was a Christian, senior citizen who bought tractors.   Whatever algorithm came up with this profile was way off.

I'd be tempted to join the Fwoosh Facebook group, but I just don't use FB.  I created an account many moons ago, but I never really used it.   A little tempted to become active on it just for the markeplace, which I hear is a good way to get rid of all the unwanted toys I have.  Something I have to start taking more seriously from now on.

So glad we're back. 

In the spirit of getting the conversation going, and celebrating the succes of 97, what other X-Men waves would you hope to see released still this year?

I would bet a Deadpool and Wolverine movie wave is coming. and I would hope at least a Retro X-Men wave or even still also a regular BAF wave.

What would be your wants for future X-Men waves in 2024/early 2025.

For me, I'd love to see just a mixed classic X-Men wave that included brown and tan wolverine on the new body,  classic green and yellow Banshee,  Deathbird,  Excalibur era Phoenix costume Rachel Summers,  Mesmero,  and Synch in Gen X costume - and if it's a BAF wave maybe Armor, or Mondo to help move the Gen X team building along.

There are a ton of others I was tempted to put in but really feel like there's no way we're getting more than two females in a wave like this so Feral, Hepzibah, Pixie, Paige Guthrie and others all have to wait.

There's a cynical part of me that wonders if Feral is saved for like an X-Force 3-pack that will include Cable and maybe a Cannonball or Sunspot repaint (the same way they gave us Rictor)

I actually wouldn't mind that for Hepzibah if they did a 3 pack that was Corsair - maybe a new head or the amored shoulder pauldrons from the 90's - Raza and Hepzibah.    Two Starjammers to complete the team and one easy repaint.

I would love for the next Amazon 5-pack to be X-Men related too -  my ideal would be a New Mutants set with all the kids in their black and yellow training outfits -  but that's too good to be true.

I'll take what I can get though -  as long as it's not movie related,  that stuff I'm out on.

They really should do this. Would need a few updates to the teen bodies but they could release a few more down the line as singles. Magick in her half training / half armored and FA Kitty Pryde, etc to flesh out a few X-Men BAF or classic waves.

The Fwoosh is back!  I was really worried for quite awhile.

Does anybody think there will be any good ML sales for Memorial Day?

@beamish I could see GI Joe before ML if they want to be "on theme" or whatever. Honestly it feels very weird when any company does a sale on memorial day.

I'm so happy the Fwoosh has returned, and I wish it had been going when the Warbird debacle happened (someone please create a thread for that).

I hit Refresh on the Target Warbird page today, as I do every time I turn on my computer, and for the first time . . . the Add To Cart button showed up in red!  I hit the button, and nothing happened, so I hit Refresh, and it went back to grey.  But I wonder, have any of you been able to order it, since the first three minutes it went on sale?
