@normdapito Oh no, I may have been trying to figure out if the Jurassic Park stuff scaled with Legends for this very reason...
I also am loving the mixed waves here - very much a throwback to the days of old.
With Ka-Zar and Zabu (currently incomplete) in hand, I'm rethinking my lack of dinosaurs for a Savage Land display. I've resisted the temptation over the years to pick up various Jurassic Park etc figures for just such a reason, but I'm tempted again. Just not sure how much shelf space I'd want to dedicate to what would mostly be background features (the dinos) and not named characters...
Not to goad you into buying stuff you probably don't need, but the Jurassic Park Amber Collection dinos were in scale with Legends. They were some of my favorite figures the year they released. I have a spare velociraptor I picked up just to keep around my office, on top of the majority of the collection along with the cast of humans. They look perfect with KaZar. Perfect.
A few can still be found on Amazon for $30.
I kinda knew when I made this post that I'd get a few dino recommendations, and I'm ok with it! Holding out - for now...
Team looks great together. It always bothered me that Pietro kept his own costume. I know he had that blue one with the yellow X on the chest for awhile.
It's very Pietro to not conform. That was always my head canon for it.

I'm sure he addressed it directly at some point, but this is what I could find on a quick search - from issue 72 when the new team debuted to the public:
And then from issue 93 when everyone got modified costumes:
Digging these up reminded me of how much I adore this series - one of my favorite runs of all time. Now that the team is complete I think it deserves another read!

Oh, for sure. But it's kind of visually jarring on the shelf. XD But I have Pietro with the Avengers anyway, so it's really a non-issue. It'd be fun if they ended up doing the blue-and-yellow outfit he wore though.
I don't currently have space for my Amber Collection (especially since I have made a LOT of space for my Hammond Collection), but because the JPIII male raptor is one of my favorite action figures of any line ever, I've had it with my old Ka-Zar, Shanna, Zabu, and "recent" Sauron in my X-Legends display.
I got charged for Ka-Zar & Wolfsbane on Monday, but have only received a shipping notice for her. (And yes, I checked the order, only she has a tracking number next to her, he now says "will ship July 1st" which upsets me a little bit.)
I am bothered by her being the color Feral should be, so I don't know what to do. I won't paint joints, and having to paint a digitally-printed face makes me even more hesitant.
Also, what color is Feral going to be now? The same? Yellow? Will they just not make her now?
You had ONE job, Hasbro...(this is my favorite X-Team, I have been eagerly waiting to finish them since Jamie was announced)
And I know Hasbro's teams don't overlap much, but there has GOT to be some teaming up on the animal toys right now, cos Zabu is bloody amazing, but in the same way thath the GI Joe Classified line is knocking it out of the park with animal companions, and the D&D line's best figures are all animals/creatures, and the Ghostbusters line did such a great job with the demon dogs...
He does seem really similar to the Dungeons and Dragons black panther that they packaged with Drizzt a few years ago, but they upgraded the design somewhat. The legs in particular have a greater range of motion overall. I really love that D&D panther, and Zacu is even better.
I bought all of the Mattel Amber Collection dinos for exactly the purpose of mixing into Legends displays so Savage Land figures are more than welcome. Ka-Zar will look great fighting them, and hopefully we get Shanna relatively soon.
Mattel still usually sells their Colossal T-Rex figure from time to time, and that's mostly in the 1:12 scale. It might be slightly larger than 1:12, perhaps 1:10 or 1:11, but it's the closest Rex to twelfth scale with any articulation I've ever seen. Here's that figure along with the Walmart Thanos figure from 2018:
Zabu is bigger than Guenhwyvar, right? The panther seems too small to use for the smilodon (not that anyone claimed they had parts reuse).

Zabu is a bit bigger than Guenhwyvar, yes, but not by much. I'd show a pic, but right now I can't find my panther. Had her last week, but my kids misplaced her around the house somewhere.
