I received Cable from EE yesterday and GameStop charged me for this wave and the extras. I would like an update on Red Guardian with a new head sculpt, pin less and both variations of his shield.
Got charged for Ikaris today. Presumably he'll be arriving Monday (along with the Iron Man Retro Wave it seems).
Just got Marvel Legends Superior Iron Man! He’s not playing god—he’s finally done playing human!
Really cool figure with two new head sculpts and an all-new upper body. The figure looks great in this pearl white color scheme. Silver chrome would look great, too if it could be pulled off. I loved the sequence in the comics when Iron Man was fighting himself, so here is a fast recreation.
I'm not at all familiar with Superior Iron Man, aside from the little bit I read about him after getting the figure. I get from that reading that he shouldn't be displayed with the other armors in the armory? Is he an alt-universe Tony Stark? My reading really didn't make that clear. What Marvel Legends that we currently have produced should he be displayed with? I am not up on my modern Marvel, aside from House of X.

@justice Superior Iron Man is the 616 Tony. To fight Red Skull (now Red Onslaught), Scarlet Witch caste a spell to reverse villains into heroes and villains into heroes to stop Red Skull. But you can’t do the same thing to Tony twice because he learns. So evil Tony shielded himself from the reversal spell and stayed evil, but he kept that fact hidden for a while.
As Superior Iron Man, Tony fought Daredevil a couple of times. And then Pepper Pots activated a failsafe that Tony had put in place years earlier to have an AI version of Tony from years earlier in the Classic Armor. The AI Tony then activated all of the Iron Man suits in an effort to stop Superior Iron Man.
Superior Iron Man also fought old man Captain America. And then everybody went back to normal after the end of Secret Wars.
@akatsuki thanks for the explainer. Nothing I read previously had ready delved into how he came to be or where he came from, just what he did after he was there.
It doesn't seem like there is really a place to put him now with the Legends selection that we have, unless I want to put the Red Skull head back on Onslaught.
I'll just stick him in my hall of armor and call it good enough for now.

I had also heard Superior Iron Man had a symbiote in the armor. Is that also true?
@enigmaticclarity Yes, Tony tells Pepper that his newest suit is based on the symbiotes. Sometimes it seems like it is with him all of the time, like when he confronts Daredevil. But other times, Tony gets separated from the suit and it can fly around by itself—it looks more like a semi-fluid chrome symbiote when flying around by itself but without a face or anything.
Looks like everyone except Cable has or is shipping from Amazon. Poor Zabu's going to spend a week or so without a leg.
