All I have so far is Red Widow. Why's her cape so stiff? The team used really thin plastic for the capes in the Love and Thunder wave that were great--very pliable and move out of the way of posing better than anything else they had done before. Then they never used that type of pliable plastic again. They really need to keep doing it for these clothing items that get in the way of articulation.
Jada Toys is the only company I've noticed doing this really well right now. Even Medicom isn't good about this with their Mafex line sometimes, although they mostly use cloth goods so it isn't an issue with many of their clothing items. Don't think I've seen any Mafex figure with hair that's pliable enough to get out of the way of any figure's shoulders.
I'm guessing Zabu is about as good as the Guenhwyvar black panther figure that comes with Drizzt from Dungeons and Dragons available on the Pulse web site. That figure is already great, so if Zabu is better then that will be a nice surprise.

Deep Discount has shipped Wolfsbane and Cable from this wave, and I've got the rest preordered with them. Very excited to get these in hand!
Interesting... I have Red Widow in hand and Iron Man to be delivered today from Amazon with the rest of the wave listed as arriving on May 31.
Unfortunately Amazon also has the entire Iron Man retro wave and a whole stack of G.I. Joe Classified scheduled for May 31 as well. Gotta love Hasbro's quarterly product dump
Anybody know if anyone has made a 3d printable of a psimatar for Cable yet? Bit more obscure than the Hyper Viper Beam he had in MvC2 so I doubt they'll pack it in if they ever do a Proton Cannon style re-release.
Looking forward to adding Red Widow to the Winter Guard. She was a great addition to the team. I watched a review which also talked about the stiff cape, which is a bummer since she should be quite lithe. But at least the cape looks very cool in more vanilla stances.
Got Wolfsbane in the mail today, first of this wave I've picked up. Very happy to have her to complete X-Factor after so long! The head is really throwing me - it almost looks like they were going for Feral and repurposed it. I need to try the Moonstar/New Mutants head and see if it works.
I'm not being cynical, but given the two big misses of the figure - the head and the color of the fur - I'm almost willing to put money on a rerelease. It's probably not the worst idea in the world considering how long ago most of the rest of the team was made, though of course I'd prefer if they included some new X-Factorians instead of just rereleases.Gimme Shard!

I was hoping for a sleeper hit with Red Widow, being a character I know little about, but man, it's just a stinker thanks to that stiff cloak rendering all the good articulation of the current female body useless. She also has really gummy grip hands so holding that spear isn't a picnic. Someone at Hasbro loooooves Winter Guard, but I do not share that enthusiasm.
Superior Iron Man is fun, the reused MCU legs are a bit of a disappointment. Another armor I'm not invested in, probably won't even get a spot in my permanent armory display.
My hopes aren't high for the rest of the wave. No interest in that Thor repaint. Ikaris seems like he'll be lonely for a long time. Ka-Zar and Zabu do look great, Wolfsbane will reluctantly complete X-Factor, and Cable looks like a winner in every way. So I'm really mixed on this wave.
I'm actually tempted to see if the cape isn't worth removing from Red Widow. The figure itself has that newer, great articulation and it feels wasted under that stiff cape.

Boo to this man. Unless this opinion is because the Soviet Super Soldiers was a better iteration this is a terrible take. I need me a Vanguard in the worst way now to finish off the classic team.
After reading a review I ordered a cape for Red Widow. I got the figure on Tuesday, the expected arrival date for the cape is June 28. I ordered it on the 8th so do not know when it will actually show up.
I've seen much better pics of the wave, my opinion still is that Zabu is a bit under scaled. But it will be a nice addition to the display. I have wanted Kazar and Zabu for a long time. Wondering how they will get Shanna into the line now.

There are almost a half dozen more characters I could go for to flesh out the team(both Winter Guard and Soviet Super Soldiers). Vanguard, Crimson Dynamo/Titanium Man (I know Selects did them, but ML needs to do them), Perun (80s or modern) Sputnik (80s for sure but modern is a maybe) and Fantasma (again 80s, although maybe more modern) and I have a soft spot for Chernobog.
Yeah Marvel Legends doing a Dynamo Mark 4 is essential for me to count the Winter Guard mostly rounded out. The Select one is very nice but it too big for me. The Titanium Man I can fudge (but would take a ML one as well)

Why? Seems about right for a large smilodon species.
Maybe when I get Zabu in hand I can pose him to my satisfaction. Had same problem with Timber when that figure showed up - posed pics looked odd.
