Far more concerning is they seem to be going away from sculpting and painting a bit of the characters’ shorts over their leggings on the upper parts of their thighs like they did with the 97 classic style Magneto. I was hoping for an end to the banana hammock look.
Made the hard choice to cancel my pre-orders for Black Winter, Wolfsbane, and Cable. As much as I want Zabu, I can’t justify getting characters/figures I don’t want just for the BaF part anymore. They’re too expensive and there are other toy lines I can spend that money on.
From the looks of the in-hand Wolfsbane image Dan Yun posted, she may be the deeper brown of the render and not the prototype - there might be hope for those unhappy!

Although, it looks like her yellow isn't going to match the older X-Factor figs because it looks cast in yellow and not painted... TBD.
Also, Red Widow's release date just moved up - I think these are coming much sooner than 7/1.

Ha! I didn't see this 'til now but yes absolutely they did a great job. Plus it looks like a '97 Cable will be coming too so it was all worth it.

Trust me, I’m not happy about it. My collection still has a big Ch’od-shaped hole in it because I had zero desire for most of that wave outside Corsair and Fang.
I got charged for this wave from GameStop. I'm really looking forward to this wave.
I'm really looking forward to this wave as well - I usually don't jump on releases right as they come out, but I'm probably will grab these as soon as I can. I really like the "grab bag" style of the wave and how it fills in a bunch of different corners of the universe. I don't need every wave to be like that (themed waves are also fun!) but this one is working for me.
I'm not on that page for this wave. There are figures I REALLY want and figures I couldn't care less about. That Thor repaint.. I don't know what to do with that. Iron Man is beyond my reading era. Red Widow looks cool but generic. Ikaris is a character I never read. But I can't wait for Wolfsbane, Cable, and Ka-Zar.
This Thor is getting posed with Galactus instantly, because that hovering-in-space hair is going to look fantastic with him. 🙂
Ikaris' might be a headswap for Quasar. Guess Ka-Zar too.
