Pre-ordered Crystar and Vision (although I don't think the figure is too impressive, and I have the retro card version). Will pick up BP and Justice on sale.

Pass on the rest and the BAF.

Yeah... I know I'm a chump for not waiting - but I pre-ordered the entire wave.

My thinking is this... I love Marvel Legends and I want figures of hundreds more characters in this style.    Already Target and Wal-Mart are passing on these most recent waves of comic only Legends figures.   If everyone waits for clearance for everything it's the end of the line.   I get that I could save a couple of hundred dollars a year waiting for clearance on some of these figures... but I support the line because I love it.   I buy Egghead and Crossfire at full price precisely because many people won't and I want them to include those kind of characters in the line.   So yep,  I even pre-ordered X-Treme Namor and Hypoxia Namorita... which I'm sure will be available on clearance -  because I don't want to send the message that we don't want deep cuts -  even if these aren't exactly the deep cuts we want.

My thoughts exactly, especially for all Avengers related comic figures. This wave has a lot of fun character selection for me.

I really dislike that Justice is coming on the Bucky buck - with pins. Dr. Spectrum has pinless arms on this buck - has anyone been released with pinless legs on this buck? For a character requested for YEARS, this is the best Hasbro could do? The face looks great, I really like the way his cape is integrated into his chest, but his extremities are very disappointing - and he's likely going to be short because of this DECADE OLD BODY.

They probably did it so they can upgrade the boxset version. 🙄 I hate how cynical and likely accurate that is.

I have not seen this mentioned yet:  How good is it to see the window packaging back?  It just puts a little smile on my face.  Can't wait to see the other Hasbro lines follow suit again.

As for the figures, it's Crystar and MAYBE Vision for me.  I haven't decided if I'm going to pay full price yet.  EVERY ML wave in recent memory has gone to clearance and I don't expect any different from this one.  If these were windowless I'd be waiting.  But maybe I want to show my appreciation for the return of window packaging by paying full price just this once?  I'll think on it.

I really don’t think that’s the Bucky body. It has more similarities to the retro Black Panther/Spider UK body, but I don’t think it’s that either. It has a newly sculpted upper torso, but reused limbs, maybe from the Sunfire body? There’s no butterfly joints though. It’s a strange concoction.

Am I the only one who's sticking with my retro Vision? I really prefer the paint apps and face sculpt on that one. Other than pins, the bodies between the two aren't *that much different. Both have butterflies. I guess the new one is marginally larger? But the retro one never struck me as too small.

I'll be interested to see them side by side, once people have the new one in hand. Maybe I'll change my mind. But I don't think I'm pre-ordering the new one.

I don't dislike the retro Vision at all. It's a good (if slightly too short) mold, and the metallic paint apps remind me of how he looked during the Busiek/Pérez run. He had that same kind of sheen there as well. But I admit I'm picking up the new one simply because of the height issue. And maybe once I have them both in hand and side by side, it won't bother me as much as I'm thinking it does..

Agreed. Definitely not the Bucky buck.

Hadn't thought about it until I read this. I order online and am a loose collector, so it was never an issue for me. Glad for those of you who have been waiting for this, though.

As I’m comparing the Sunfire buck to the Vulcan buck right now, yeah I’m definitely leaning toward this new Vision. I also prefer this classic paint scheme as well. And the more accurate looking cloak. And ears.

I also wish Justice was pinless as he's the only one I'm interested in. Will try and grab him if he goes on sale.

I wonder if sales took a hit because of the windowless packaging?

I honestly don't think it's just one factor.    I do think that is part of it for sure.   But Target manages their inventory a little insanely with certain things hanging on pegs for months at full price and then some things getting clearance priced just weeks after they release.

Also,  every year there's at least one wave that Target or Wal Mart skip -  usually one without a movie tie-in,  so it's not unprecedented.    Just hopefully its not a trend that increases.

I prefer the matte paint app and the cord on the cape of the new one but the face sculpt on the shiny retro Vision. Hasbro has me in their sweet spot; perpetually a shade discontent.

So happy to finally see Marvel Knights T'Challa in the line! That was an unexpected surprise.

I find shiny Vision near perfect.

I thought I was going to get the new one if only for the alternate hands and corded cape, but I can't quite figure out what's going on with the new cape from the pictures. Is it pegged in the back to make it float up like that? It looks weird.
