Pre-orders are live at BBTS, so I'd imagine elsewhere as well. After some thought, I decided to just get Crystar, Vision, and Power Princess. I had Vance in my cart as well, but the truth is it's just not the Vance costume I want. So, like Nita, I'll wait it out.
I don't typically pre-order legends - but I didn't hesitate to drop orders for Crystar & Vision on pulse just now. Can not wait for these two figures!
Can you imagine if this had been a comic wave as an homage to Wakanda Forever, plus a few other characters not related to WF but to Namor and T'Challa and it had:
The three we are getting:
Savage Namor
Namorita
Black Panther
...and these characters instead:
Attuma
Stingray
Kasper Cole
BAF M'Baku
I mean... are you trying to make me cry? I can honestly say if that had been the line up it probably would have been my favorite wave of Marvel Legends ever. The only thing that would have made it better would have been normal Namorita instead of that stupid blue one... sigh.
So, I found the listing for Namorita up on Amazon, but I'm struggling to find the rest of the wave.

Went for Vision, Justice, and Power Princess today.
Tempted by Savage Namor, but I just don't have a strong connection to that era, nor the Marvel Knights Black Panther. Namorita isn't the version I'm looking for. Crystarr, while cool, is another I have no connection with. Same with the Void.
This is the first comic-based BAF wave I've yet to go all in on.
Just Crystar for me. I've become very picky about what I will pay full price for, so for the others that I want I'm willing to chance it and wait for them to come down. There can't be THAT many other Squadron Supreme fans out there.

Same here. I was on the fence about Power Princess, since it's not the version of her I'm familiar with, but she looks too good, and we'll probably never get another version, sooo...ya got me, Hasbro.
Crystar and Justice for me. Debating Power Princess. I'll wait on the rest.
This is very unusual for me, since I'm usually all in on Avengers stuff.
There are a couple I want from this wave, but it also seems to be the one most likely to pegwarm and go on clearance in ages - and even recent stronger waves have had that happen. I'm sure that's a better Vision than the retro carded one, but is it better ENOUGH to buy another Vision? (PS: I love Vision)

So are these online only stores, like the MK wave, or will big box get them as well?
Looks to be online-only for now, and in looking over the lineup, it's not that hard to imagine Walmart, Target, etc not being particularly interested. None of that matters though, because it has Crystar. That wave happened to pop up for preorder when I was browsing BBTS already and I couldn't have preordered that one fast enough. I have zero interest in the other figures in the wave.

My thinking is this... I love Marvel Legends and I want figures of hundreds more characters in this style. Already Target and Wal-Mart are passing on these most recent waves of comic only Legends figures. If everyone waits for clearance for everything it's the end of the line. I get that I could save a couple of hundred dollars a year waiting for clearance on some of these figures... but I support the line because I love it. I buy Egghead and Crossfire at full price precisely because many people won't and I want them to include those kind of characters in the line. So yep, I even pre-ordered X-Treme Namor and Hypoxia Namorita... which I'm sure will be available on clearance - because I don't want to send the message that we don't want deep cuts - even if these aren't exactly the deep cuts we want.
It's funny. I've been spoiled by all these Ollie's and Target clearance sales. I pre-ordered Vision, but in my mind I was thinking 'Wow, really? $25?" God forbid I pay full price for a figure! 😆

For several years there I was preordering everything I planned to get - for convenience, but also with that same mentality that I want to contribute to the longevity of the line. The last few years I haven't been able to do that and have become a bit of a bargain hunter. We're buying a house soon which will actually bring our cost of living down (yes, even with all the extra homeownership costs - rent is outta control, y'all) so I'm hopeful I can return to that soon.

I will always preorder anything I really want just in case. Remember the time when you can miss a PO and then pay that nice after market price with no chance of ever getting it at retail once it sells out? Those times are returning with inventory cut backs and smaller production runs. Don't want to be caught efeing around only to find out.
