I had cross posted with the same ideas you had except I had an updated Scarlet Spider in blue hoodie to anchor the set instead of a Night Thrasher re-release.

My theory is that it was supposed to be Crystal all along, but there was a typo on an inter office communication, and by the time Hasbro realized that an error had been made, Crystar was too far along in development to turn back. 😉

This seems like a safe bet. I'd love a curveball like latter costume Night Thrasher or Firestar, but if the Avengers West set is any indication it'll be mostly slight repaints.
They could give Night Thrasher some accurate knees this time around, at least.
The Void is a cool use of the movie Venom parts. Actually, it's just a very cool figure in general. It's the kind of thing I'd buy just because it looks cool if it wasn't the BAF.
I'm starting to really come around on this wave. Was just in for Justice and PP but I'm actually liking Namorita and I'll probably grab Vision and likely BP at some point.
No interest at all in the BAF or that Namor. I would love to know more about his selection. The choice seems out of nowhere.
Namor reminds me of the ol' Total Justice Aquaman figure. I think it's the posing and generally-similar vibe.
Namorita looks so much like 2020s Elizabeth Berkley - it's the eyebrows.

On the contrary, I think your credentials are firmly established! It's Hasbro who should be ashamed, dilly-dallying with making Crystal as they are.
I'm fully prepared for them to make Crystal's black and white jacketed look first - which I don't prefer but can live with, as they've already made Widow, Sersi, Black Knight, Thunderstrike, etc for her to go with. I couldn't remember if or for how long she wore her more classic yellows as an Avenger - looks like she officially joined in issue 343 and switched to the black/white by 360/361. I'm not sure if she was officially on the team all the way through Onslaught, but I'm guessing she wore the black/white for a much longer time as a member.
@schizm This absolutely has that same vibe! Loved that figure back in the day.
For some of these long-haired characters I'd love if they started including alternate heads (or swappable hair pieces) with their hair flowing backwards as if they're flying. I get why it might not happen for some characters, but next time they release a classic Thor, for example, it might be a nice thing to try out, and an extra incentive for those who already bought that figure once or twice.

I only really want Vision and Crystar from this wave, but at one point in time I would’ve loved getting the Void and I kind of feel like I NEED to get him since “Attempting to Avoid The Void” had been my subnic on Fwoosh Classic every since I was on a mad spree to hunt down the original Sentry figure in the Walmart Giant Man wave back in 2005 or 06. Heck, I didn’t even get the newest Walgreens Sentry figure.

I think I'm actually less worried about that since they're making this version first. They must know that if they cheap out on the costume and there is already a version out there people won't go for it! I'm optimistic that Rachel Grey Phoenix, Wolfsbane, Feral, Marrina, and Namorita are taking forever to be made because they will be more expensive to do right and they're not going to do them until they can.
