The crazy part about these shipping early is that we are probably days or even hours away from getting notices that the Retro Spider-man wave has reached American shores since the two waves showed up back to back overseas. I'm fully expecting a notice from BBTS before christmas. Definitely won't arrive in time but they'll probably get here quickly enough to be a spoiler in my top ten FOTY list

Can't believe my Crystar preorder came in so fast. I thought this wave wasn't gonna be released until February.

Whelp, that sucks. Thanks to Hasbro's inability to adhere to their own damn release schedule, and try to hit me literally days before Christmas, I had to cancel the bulk of my pre-order for this wave. Just got hit with $130 in charges for which I was most definitely NOT ready. The only one I kept in my POL was Power Princess.

Pisses me directly the hell off. 😡

Yeah... I'm particularly thankful that Amazon hasn't fulfilled yet for similar reasons.    Amazon still has an expected delivery date of February 2,  so getting them 6 weeks early, right in the Christmas window would be not great.

Yes, the whole wave shipped for me yesterday from BBTS, around one week after I started seeing in-hand reviews on YouTube. The in-hand reviews of the new retro Spidey wave have started hitting YouTube now too so those figures are probably right behind these, even though they had a projected May 2024 release. Honestly this was probably to be expected because it's exactly what has happened the last couple of years as well as I recall -- but I totally understand the frustration.

Pretty tempting to pickup the wave from BBTS now. Looks like Power Princess is sold out.

Crystar was already sold out, too. But I couldn’t help myself—ordered the rest of the wave that BBTS had in stock. The character selection in this wave is so cool to me.

I never would have predicted Power Princess's popularity.

Really? She completes a team and she's basically a Marvel Legends Wonder Woman. It's the latter that really matters.

Also looks like a new body for Power Princess. That alone would pique my curiosity, even if I wasn't completing the Squadron.

But she's a knockoff character so I'm also surprised.  I still don't get the appeal of the Squadron Supreme at all.

Yeah, I was never a fan of SS either.

I canceled Vision with amazon and ordered him from BBTS.  I owed them one for canceling something with them a while ago.  I missed out on Crystar but oh well, he'll turn up.  Hopefully Scarlet Spider shows up early and he and Vision can ship together.  I recently sold the vintage card versions of these figures and made more money than what I'll be spending on the new versions.  I wish it worked out that way all the time.

Squadron Supreme are a lot of fun. Lots of great comic stories including modern Avengers comics. But an easily accessible way to see them in action is to watch their episodes on the Avengers Assemble animated series. Hyperion, Nighthawk, Dr. Spectrum, and Power Princess are all really cool in that show.

Yeah... for those of us old heads the Squadron Sinister was a way to see the Avengers and Justice League fight - so it was cool.

Then Gruenwald flipped the script completely with the Squadron Supreme maxi series.
