Widow is a big improvement.  Pretty sure the old Widow didn't even have wrist hinges, while this one has up-down trigger hands and double elbows.  Shame that torso articulation will likely be borderline-useless (we'll see) and the high-heel legs suck for posing (imo).  I do prefer the old heads and skin tone, just think she looks better, but will admit the new heads are "objectively" better, assuming you get one with good matrix printing.  I always disliked how she had pistols molded into her holsters, and it's a shame they haven't changed it for this rerelease, especially considering how she comes with two pistols.  The new suit paint job does look miles better than the weird off-grey of the original release.

Biggest let-down for me is Stealth Cap.  Echoing the opinion that he should be on the newer buck.  I'd rebuy him in a heartbeat for the worthy cap buck, as stealth suit cap is my favorite MCU look of all the characters.  At least give us a grimacing face, Cap is struggling this entire movie and yet both head sculpts make him look chill af.

I swear, they've sold this Iron Man like 20 times.  Multipacks, battle damaged versions, you name it, they've sold it and it's gone on clearance.

Thor's smiling face looks fantastic, RDJ's head looks solid, but the other head sculpts are so boring.  Seriously, do any of these characters ever look this bored in the movies?

As is, I might buy Widow, but the rest are easy passes.

The thing I always hated about that Widow, and had completely forgotten until looking at the pics again, was how the top of her holsters were free from the belt. So if you pose her in any way other than standing straight up, it looks like the strap going down to her holster has popped free of the belt and is just floating there.

Also, an improved body for this Cap would have been awesome but you can't simply paint the 'worthy' cap in these colors and have it be accurate.

Was somewhat excited for MkII... but those rivets are painted on, aren't they? :/

Yep, tampo rivets on cheap, swirly, unpainted plastic.  The absolute bare minimum.

To be fair, they remolded this figure for the AOU and CW release. I don't see why a remold of Worthy cap or the Infinity Saga IW Cap would be out of the question

TDW Thor def is least desirable IMO. I would have taken an Avengers Thor or AoU sleeveless Thor instead.

Kinda tempted for the updated face sculpts but the only ones I'm 100% in for are Bruce and Nat. The Stealth Suit cap was one of my fovorites for a long, long time, not sure I need another but I will probably talk myself into it. the other guys look really good but I'm absolutely swimming in Tonys these days.

I am definitely hoping next time they do one of these, we get some new characters. At least 1 or 2. These are fine for people who don't have these figures and all, but none of these are super exciting.

It’s a shame the wave isn’t more balanced and has redecos & figures that required limited new tooling with new deco

Gladiator thor - redeco, new headsculpt with longer hair &  a new cape

Infinity war black widow -  civil war new hair sculpt

endgame cap - battle damage deco & new broken shield

Ronan - captain marvel deco

Not out of the question, I agree, but definitely out of the question as far as this wave is concerned. But I'm not sure how much of the Worthy Cap could be used for a WS figure. The knees down? Forearms, hands, and head I guess? The entire torso, upper arms, and thighs would have to be new.

Also, looking at the pics again, the shield kinda sucks. Reminds me more of the unpainted one with the WW2 set that came with Peggy than the WS version.

Now that you mention it, why didn't they just use that AOU mold with these new heads instead?

Ugh, yes, yes too all of these. I can't believe they've still not done a broken shield. But yeah, those will probably be in the next Infinity Saga wave.

I went and looked at the first release of that War Machine and had forgotten he came with an Iron Man repaint from Iron Man 3. is that the first and only time they've ever done a set with figures from two different movies? Why don't they do some more of that?

@bubbles All good options. I also would have liked them to maybe use that same Kree body from the Captain Marvel wave to have given us a Korath or Atlass figure. Would be super easy reuse to make those happen, but I also understand that entire wave went on super discount, so that likely harms that prospect. But it's just another example of reuse they could have done and I would not have complained about

@slixta hey, with all your widows, did you use the IW heads on all of them and just switch the hair? What I really want to know is how the Winter Soldier Widow head fits on the IW Widow neck peg. Thank you!

also does the black widow movie figures leg fit on the old winter solider widow’s lower torso? I still can’t get over them reusing those legs

Shooting the Galaxy has his cool promotional photos of this wave on his Instagram.

I definitely want Iron Man Mark 2. That might be the only day-one preorder for me.

Iron Man Mark 46 (Civil War) is tempting. I’ve always loved the proportions of that suit and figure. And the Tony head looks cool. As I mentioned before, the figure does not have the best range of motion in the shoulders and hips, unfortunately.

War Machine would be a buy if it was improved or different at all. I can’t tell yet.

Black Widow and Bruce Banner both look cool.

Thor’s head sculpts and face printing look cool.

Someone should ask STG (or maybe they can chime in here, having been a member) how they pulled off that landing pose with the Civil War armor. Is it real? Is it 'shopped?
