Is there something I need to do to be able to post to the forums? All my posts end of saying waiting for moderation.

The prior version of the forum had a specific thread for newbies to post in to be approved. I don't see it here.
This new forum had me at that restricted level twice. Not sure if it had to do with a long duration in between logins.

On mobile or desktop? I use both, though primarily mobile. I carry a Pixel 6 Pro and use the Opera browser. This is the only site that causes me problems. My phone absolutely shits its pants about 6 times a day when visiting this site. Browser crashes, launcher crashes, UI crashes, and a couple more things that I can't remember. Imgur is fine. Instagram is fine. EBay is fine. Mercari is fine. All the other sites I visit are fine. My phone just hates The FWOOSH.
Any way to change how quotes get Center Alignment to proper Left Alignment? Centering text is shit-ugly 99% of the time and only works in advertising.

Desktop computer. Trying no personalized ads this time and will see if it still gets paralyzed.
@purplelantern I am still in “awaiting moderation” for anything I post. Was a member of the old forum for 15 years or so.
@red_ogre Yeah it’s tough on mobile. I haven’t tried a computer. I use an iPhone and Safari. It sort of works if you run an ad blocker. But it’s still very slow, unresponsive, and I get logged out about 10 times a day.
Last time, I clicked the "X" on the ad, and on Ad Options, slid off the Personalized Ads and the web browser didn't get paralyzed that session. I think it still fed me personalized ads though.
Soooo is there anyway to be authorised by a moderator/admin?
Is there no long an option to ignore people? That was quite the helpful feature in the past.
Nope. All the extra features of the separate forum software are gpne.

The "remember me" checkbox is pretty useless, since I still get logged out every couple days. I've been really enjoying this community for the past 20-ish years, but this forum is becoming a bit too much of a chore to use. The current experience is just such a monumental step backwards.
