The one thing I really don't like is the number of topics per subforum page. I believe it used to be 25 and now it's down to 10. If there's a user setting to change that, I can't find it. I feel like it will lead to a ton of duplicate topics for people who don't search beyond page 1.
I'm also trying to figure out the notifications. If you start a thread, you seem to get a notification with every post. I'm sure there's probably something I can do to change that, though.
Really nice that if you click a thread from a subforum, it brings you right to the first unread post.
Tapatalk isn't an option here. It's made for full on forum software, this is just a Wordpress add-on. It's just waaaaay easier to maintain this way rather than try to upkeep essentially two different sites (front page/forum).
Is there an option to edit tab titles to the thread titles? In my browser everything just shows up as "Forum." Makes it difficult to navigate if you're switching between tabs.
So it seems like illegal characters consist of anything that isn't a single lowercase word.

My god I'm grateful the forum is back. I'm a bit confused on the username setup. I used caps and a space but it returned with "invalid characters used in username" and changed it all to lower case. I replaced the space with underscore and it worked. Now I see that others were able to use caps spaces. Any suggestions to change my username? There isn't an option in my profile. I could just stick with the existing or would it take creating a new user account to get it where I want it? No criticism as it could be just user error. I'm very familiar with that.
I had the same issue. I'm actually registered as just "tsi"
The workaround is to go to Profile > Edit Account Information (small gear icon in upper right area) > Edit Display Name

Per what I wrote in one of the Marvel threads:
You can place image links directly into your posts and the images should appear. No [img] tags necessary.
If you're adding your own image, you'd have to either upload it here (where it will appear as an attachment) or use a third-party site like Imgur.
If you're pulling from an existing image, like something from the Fwoosh front page, Toyark, or something you uploaded yourself to Imgur, you can just copy and paste the image address into the post body.
