Is there a Customizing subforum? Is it Invite-only or somesuch? Is the fact I've not gotten an Invite to mean my meager efforts aren't appreciated? "Suck it, loser; scram with your midgets!"

To be honest the only real issue I have with the functionality of the board is I cannot stop receiving notifications anytime someone posts in this thread that I started.
When you get email notifications, do you have a "show quoted text" button at the bottom of the email? When I click that, there's a link to unsubscribe from whatever thread I got notified about.
@protozoalord Sorry, I should have clarified. I don't get email notifications. It marks the little orange notification signal at the top of the page. Not that it really matters. Like I want one for the quote you just gave me so I could respond but every single post in this thread does one. I assume b/c I made the thread and I've looked everywhere and cant find how to opt out. Would hate to clear so many so fast I actually do miss a quote or reply from someone. Not that big an issue; just seems odd.
If subscriptions were changed to the way they were on the old forum, that would eliminate my main issue with the new forums. I hope that is in the works, but if not, I'm sure I'll get used to the way it is now eventually.

@trunks3540 I would like dark mode as well. Some browsers do have the option to force this. I’m using Brave on iPad and it has a dark-mode toggle. If you are using Chrome or a Chromium-based browser on Windows, there is an advanced setting to force dark mode: https://www.howtogeek.com/446198/how-to-force-dark-mode-on-every-website-in-google-chrome/ . Can’t speak for Android, but there may be options.
This site actually looks really good in dark mode, much easier on the eyes.

Just another plea for consideration of some mechanism that could get us Tapatalk compatibility again or something better for mobile users. Although some loading times on Safari on iPhone are better now that I am running an ad blocker, loading times remain uneven and frequently make it feel like I am on slow dial-up internet from the 90s. Clickable parts of the site, like thread titles and the thumbs up button remain slow and sometimes unresponsive. Sometimes I cannot get the “like” feature to work at all. Threads require being clicked at least three times. And I get auto-logged out if I open a new tab.
I love Fwoosh. I was happy to pay for Froosh and for Tapatalk to improve my Fwoosh experience. I wouldn’t mind paying for a better mobile experience here.
BTW, thanks for the ad blocker suggestion Akat. A Lot better browsing on the phone and laptop.
Anyone else having trouble changing avatars? I tried to upload a new one and it allows me to select a new file but won't upload it. I click save and it goes right back to the old one.
Edit: Got it to work, but I had to upload the image to Imgur first and provide the link instead.
I'm not sure what hill some people are willing to die on, but I use Chrome on my android and I haven't had most of these problems people keep talking about. Honestly, after putting that dark mode setting on, I'm content. I wouldn't hate getting back on Tapatalk but I know that's not possible with this setup. So anyone using another browser like safari (not sure why cause imo Chrome is better then all of them) may want to at least consider or try using Chrome just to see if it works better.
And IPhone users may just be screwed cause those phones are dumpster fires on their own lol.

Yeah i did notice that TSI, omg, you finally changed your avatar after like 40 years. i have a bad habit of constantly changing my avatar, i need help 😊
I wish there was an easy way to jump to the last page instead of the last post. That's how I like to read and keep up with threads.
