I miss being able to jump to the last and most recent post.
You can, just click on the thread title and wait for 1 minute and it will go to the last post where you were at. its just kinda slow.

There aren't direct messages on the new forum, so I don't think there will be a new trade forum unless Robo is eventually able to find add-ons to the new forum software that works like that.
I don't even know if the new forum allows for restricted access to certain areas or not.

Not quite. I did have the same message when I first signed up on the new forum with my first 2-3 posts, but it went away. I think it's just a safeguard to keep bots from spamming the board all at once.
I seem to be having a much better time on mobile than others. Sometimes Chrome will randomly crash when I use the forum, but I can't say I've noticed any other glaring problems. Maybe it's an iOS vs Android thing?
Mobile isn’t great but it’s fine. Certainly as good as the old board. At least on my iPhone.

I don't have much of an issue on Android using this. It may be an iPhone thing. Just one more reason iPhones suck lol.
I have some questions? Observations? When I tried to sign up it gave me this rules list or some such. It said keep it pg13. Now I'm not gonna post up any porn or anything, but I do have a bit of a potty mouth. I just don't wanna get banned for my foul language. Also, I would kinda like to be able to do a dark mode theme, is that possible? The white screen hurts my eyes a little. It also said don't post any leaks or something like that. But uhh, we always got leaks posted on the old board, so...?

To be honest the only real issue I have with the functionality of the board is I cannot stop receiving notifications anytime someone posts in this thread that I started.
@trunks3540 I would like dark mode as well. Some browsers do have the option to force this. I’m using Brave on iPad and it has a dark-mode toggle. If you are using Chrome or a Chromium-based browser on Windows, there is an advanced setting to force dark mode: https://www.howtogeek.com/446198/how-to-force-dark-mode-on-every-website-in-google-chrome/ . Can’t speak for Android, but there may be options.
This site actually looks really good in dark mode, much easier on the eyes.
Just added a browser extension called 'Night Eye' on firefox/windows, way better for my cat eyes. hope this helps some people who wanted 'dark mode'

Glad to have the forums back. I first registered in 2009, but rarely posted. I hope to participate more often now.
As others have mentioned, I'm also having issues with very slow and uneven loading on mobile, and having to click multiple times on board/thread titles, or even having to refresh the page to click through. And the ads. Please, pretty please, fix the ads being inserted into posts. I can handle in between posts, but embedded inside a post is seriously disruptive while reading, sometimes causing me to miss entire sentences.
On a more positive note, my password email was sent immediately. Now to figure out avatars and such...
