Is no one pumped that you can create your own subnic in here now? Wasn't that a big deal for a lot of folks?

Ok here's a question. I started this topic just b/c it seemed like something we should have (all the tude from some not withstanding). Now I get a notification for every post which was fine for awhile but I obviously don't need it b/c I don't know much. To get that to stop I .... hit the "RSS" link on page 1?

If you hover over "my profile" at the top, you can go to the subscriptions page and I believe there's bell icons for each subscribed thread, it'll probably mute if you click that? Haven't tried it myself

Is "subnic" a typo? I searched for it and didn't find anything.

Subscriptions just has a checklist of broad topics. None of which are checked.

If you are subscribed to specific threads, the Subscriptions page will show this below the Topics section.  If this thread doesn’t show for you, subscribe to it and then unsubscribe, that may be enough to toggle off the emails.  It’s worth a shot…

Clicking the crossed out bell on any of these topics will unsubscribe them, they should have a similar list for you under that broad list, of your subscribed topics

This isn't how it appears on my end. I see a list of the subforums and that's it. Receiving a notification for every post in a thread you started is one of the worst features of the new site. Figuring out how to turn it off would greatly improve my experience.

They're referring to your "Title" in the Account Information settings.

Huh? That's strange, for me it's right under that subforum list. I don't know how it'd be different between users.

I miss the old subscription system: no emails and the ability to check what's new by just going to the notifications...

Tapatalk isn't an option here. It's made for full on forum software, this is just a Wordpress add-on. It's just waaaaay easier to maintain this way rather than try to upkeep essentially two different sites (front page/forum).

thanks for the answer  but that is disappointing.  I really liked the Tapatalk interface and photo posting abilities. I bought a membership to use on Fwoosh.

Same here. Guess I'll be cancelling that subscription.

The old forum did support emails for subscriptions (until the functionality broke), but you could turn it off without unsubscribing and it was one email peer thread until you caught up.  Now it is an email every time someone posts, it is a lot more email.

I setup an email filter to push the “New Reply” emails to another folder so they don’t fill up my inbox, and I can go back and read them later.  This is kind of working for me now, I’m just hoping for some improvements in the email content, such as the addition of the poster name and a link to the actual post.
