Ok. Better yet; how to edit one. (Edit) Ok. Change the whole format you used to make an avatar. Save it. Then revert to another format.
On my end they want me to make an account on Gravatar(?). I don't wanna join even more websites and share my email with yet another site. There should be an option to do it here.

A lot of social websites use Gravatar now. It probably makes sense for Fwoosh since they don’t have to host the images, though now we can upload images directly to posts which is interesting. Looks like they have to be approved though? That’s going to suck for mods and admins if they have to individually approve them.
Otherwise, seems fairly similar to the old forum. I’m curious to see how it runs with more users on at once.
My god I'm grateful the forum is back. I'm a bit confused on the username setup. I used caps and a space but it returned with "invalid characters used in username" and changed it all to lower case. I replaced the space with underscore and it worked. Now I see that others were able to use caps spaces. Any suggestions to change my username? There isn't an option in my profile. I could just stick with the existing or would it take creating a new user account to get it where I want it? No criticism as it could be just user error. I'm very familiar with that.
Agreed. Really hope we can use Tapatalk again. I am finding this new interface difficult to use on mobile.Anyone know if Tapatalk is an option?
same thing happened to me. The registration page would not let me capitalize my name—kept saying it was invalid. So I had to use lowercase. But now I see other people with capitalized usernames. Apparently I have to post in order to get privilege to edit my account information, so I'm posting. Will achieving this minimum post threshold also permit profile changes?

I had the same issue. I'm actually registered as just "tsi"
The workaround is to go to Profile > Edit Account Information (small gear icon in upper right area) > Edit Display Name

You can add a profile photo without using gravatar by going to your account settings and using "Choose file..."
Okay, yeah, after your first post the gear icon appears on the right in your profile. There you can change your avatar and username.
