Mondo have just put up their 1/6 Phantasm for sale
Timed Edition (Including a swappable Andrea torso, swappable hood and smoke base attachment) is available until Sept 25th 11:59 AM CT
This is a line I've managed to avoid thus far, but I recently saw a few of them in person at a secondhand shop, and I really like them. The Phantasm is really, really nice, especially the exclusive with the smoke base. Don't know if I'd ever display the Andrea profile, though.
Lord help me if and when they get around to Scarecrow. That's one that I won't be able to turn down, and if he has multiple portraits.....oof. It's over for me.
What are folks opinions on Mondo 1/6? I’ve watched some videos but on some the QC seems iffy, especially for the price the figures cost
Got an email from Mondo saying Harley should be in warehouse by the end of the week. Should ship early-mid Oct.
Really annoyed I wasn’t on their mailing list and missed out on the special edition Harley with the hyenas. Great line though. Would love to see them keep going.
Picked up the Batman Redux and Joker Redux as I saw they were starting to sell out (Batman is OOS on Mondo's site now)
They are nice looking figures to display (kind of like larger versions of the DC Direct TAS figures, even having some of the same accessories) although for the price I would have liked to see better QC and poseability/joints (there's some paint splotches dotted around and Batman in particular is really top heavy plus has a loose leg, something that seems to affect all of them based on reviews I have seen)
I managed to PO the deluxe Phantasm and plan to get that one at least, not sure if I can justify going too deep into this line given the cost of each figure though!

Overall, they are nice figures with a lot of options and good shelf presence. QC is lacking in places, which I find unacceptable at this price point.

Yeah that's how I've found them TBH, they are nice figures but the QC really should be better at the price point

My brother ordered the Man-Bat for me as a birthday and X-mas gift. Guess it won't be making it in time for the holiday, but I don't mind. I haven't been really following the line because it's a bit rich for my blood, but BtAS Man-Bat is a particular favorite. Who else are we expecting out of this "most-requested B:TAS baddies for 2024" hint, because the other big one for me would be Clayface....
Toyshiz at Designer con - at about 18 mins they mention they have a new reveal coming for BTAS and one that will be bigger than Man-Bat
Also no restocks planned of the timed Harley Quinn - but they might do another one with the hyenas
Bigger than Man-Bat, eh? That's impressive. I think that would only really leave Clayface or Killer Croc, no? Bane is tall, but I don't think he's taller than any of those 3, at least not according to the BTAS size comparison chart. Think they could really knock both out of the park, but Clayface would be really cool to see.

I thought Clayface to - but Toyshiz has revealed on instagram that it will be Bane 🙂
