Actually, I am, I am somewhat interested in this. Have I read any Captain Carrot or have any kind of connection to him at all? No, absolutely not. And yet.....
The bundle price on the Nolan stuff wasn’t bad, but I had a meeting at launch and it was sold out by the time I got to it. With the lowest priced shipping option being $20 to the east coast, couldn’t justify $92 shipped for a figure and Batpod, or $110 for all 3. Bummed that I feel priced out of the few purchaes I still want to make from the line.
As for DCUC vs McFarlane…I would say that I’ve come to appreciate the consistency of DCUC. The truth is that most of my figures don’t sit in dynamic poses on display so having figures that are (mostly) properly scaled/proportioned looks better as an overall collection.
At the same time, peak McFarlane figures like Shriek, Parallax, Devastator, are in a different class of quality than DCUC. Although none of my McFarlanes have skipped leg day, functionally they can hold some of the most dynamic poses of any figures in my collection, Mafex included.

I ordered the GITD Parallax. It looks better than the original since this one has brown hair with white temples and not black hair like the original. I like the paint on the outfit better but the original may have been more accurate. You never know which figures might sell out or eventually go on sale.
I also ordered the COIE figures with some other pre order items. Using MTS10 negated the shipping costs. With the discount they come out to $27 each for 5 figures. I factor this in since 4 figures are $25 each so 5 figures are $20 each. I usually buy McFarlane figures when they go on sale, discount or clearance. So I rationalize this evens out a bit.
I would like the single Catwoman figure from The Dark Knight but I'm not sure how that will be available being a platinum figure. I wonder if there is another single release with an alternate head. I don't collect the vehicles, so I didn't bother with the figure with the bat pod. I wonder if the platinum edition will available through EXL.
Speaking of vehicles with figures, I wanted the Batman Hush figure that is packaged with the bat raptor. I like the colors on that figure compared to the other 2 that were released. I really don't want the raptor but if it goes on sale I might get.

Nailed it. I pre-ordered Wonder Woman (x2) from the Target app within 10 minutes of them going live. Since then I received four "must approve delay" emails and then today… this.
Pre-ordering sh!t from Target, and then getting a bunch of "item delayed" messages, and then a cancel notice. As predictable as the sunrise.
I received the same email. Luckily I have one in my bbts pile of loot, but I was hoping to get both versions.
Also, I would love to get that Catwoman, but I don’t need the Pod and I’m not paying $70 for Catwoman. Hopefully she gets a single release later.
Regarding the leaks, I’m in for Starfire and the Penguin. Assuming they look good and are obtainable.

Edit: so a bit of context, back in 12/15/23 todd did a live for the aquaman event and show off this catwoman and yes it’s platinum… not sure it it came out yet or if they’re going to announce it later.

Yes. Given Todd’s love of Batman variants I’m astonished we haven’t seen the Grayson version yet. Maybe in a 2-pack with another Damian.
