Nailed it. I pre-ordered Wonder Woman (x2) from the Target app within 10 minutes of them going live. Since then I received four "must approve delay" emails and then today… this.

Pre-ordering sh!t from Target, and then getting a bunch of "item delayed" messages, and then a cancel notice. As predictable as the sunrise.

Thinking about ordering the Batpod but I just paid off my credit card and it feels so good.   I want to hang on to that feeling.

I have sparingly collected McFarlane DC in the past primarily focusing on the classic comic based figures (i.e. Superman Action comics #1000, Martian Manhunter Gold, Batman Knightfall, etc.).  I wanted to get Hawkman with the classic colors but frustrated because he is  a "chase" figure that is packed only 1 per 6 fig. case. Then Spectre shows up as a McFarlane store exclusive at a higher price point and already sold out individually unless you purchase the Crisis bundle. This is frustrating and wondering if this trend will continue or if at some point McFarlane would reissue the chase/exclusive figures in a way that is slightly less painful to collect either individually or as a "box set"? I get that the chase factor drives interest and collectability but it is not collector friendly unless you are willing to pay upfront for preorders and/or willing to pay a premium price for the variants on eBay and Mercari. The other frustration point is that non Batman and Superman figures are being released more than previous years but still remain sparse compared to ongoing Bat and Supes related figures.

Has there been and word or dates for the rumored New 52 Batman and any updates on the rumored New 52 Cyborg  Superman? 

@rebirthbat The Cyborg Supes has been delayed indefinitely; most likely down to cost and not being able to get it out last year.

The Batman is in the next wave to come (along with the 1939 Debut Batman), slated for March/April so shouldn't be long till we see them.

Amazon finally sent me my 2 classic Wonder Womans. One was normal and the other was SP version. Didn’t think that would happen. 

Oh yeah, got the BAF Mr Freeze in yesterday (no need for the whole wave, got the boxset Clooney but will pickup Robin), great figure and I actually don't hate the lack of metallic.  Pure fomo and nostalgia but a great piece.  

Eyeing up getting the Darkest Knight BAF too now since the last few leaks haven't tickled my fancy much so I may aswell fill in the few gaps I've got.  Also will be picking up comic Mr Freeze and unmasked Zur-En-Arrh Bats.  Would love to see the Metal universe revisited too, still alot of cool untapped designs, plus whatever happened to Knight Terrors stuff we were teased with??  

Yeah I was hoping we would see Knight Terrors but am dubious.  I really wanted those.  The BAF waves will be interesting - Superman, Batman, Aquaman in BOTH?  Flash/Lantern complete each set.  It has to have new tooling for me to get on board and be accurate to something.  I have a feeling Darkseid is the Mega Figure build and we could see that $40 pricepoint again.  Him or Despero.

I guarantee FA Batman is on the Earth 2 Superman body and will look great on it.  Should have used that for FA Superman 🙄

Edit: so a bit of context, back in 12/15/23 todd did a live for the aquaman event and show off this catwoman and yes it’s platinum… not sure it it came out yet or if they’re going to announce it later.

I'm looking for the video now and see if I can post with more information.

I was excited about seeing this and my decision to skip the batpod until I saw that sticker on the box.  UGH.  This is frustrating.

Nice.  Hopefully she's available at retail and not only at Toddshop.  Personally I'm not terribly mad at the $30 price if she's well-done with those extra parts.  I will say, it would sure be nice if McF figures could find a price point and stick to it.

@grammat awesome! Thanks for letting me know! I’ve been asking/wanting a New 52 Batman ever since the Rebirth Batman came out way too small. I hope they fix this for New 52 Batman. I’m also hoping for a New 52 Superman and Wonder Woman. WW being a quick and easy repaint. I’m actually surprised the variant wasn’t a New 52 WW

New 52 WW would be slick. 

Anyone else want a Dick Grayson Batman (and a Batman Inc. Batman, for that matter, although I guess the Three Jokers one was pretty close)?
