And honestly - if he had released the Monitor as a stand alone figure I would have bought it.   Mattel didn't make one and he's a character I could live with being a different height than others.    But there's zero chance I'm buying 4 figures I don't want at $40 each (even $30 each if I ordered direct from him, I guess) just to get the one figure I do want.    I'll take my chances that he'll be cheaper than $150 eventually on ebay and if not - I've lived this long without a figure of the character.

Just by the DC Direct version.  Works fine with DCUC and a lot cheaper.

Anyone remember Tye Butler? He used to do a lot of interviews in year one and then bam gone. Any idea what happened to that guy?

I wondered that too.  Haven't seen him since 2020.  Hopefully he's well, maybe moved on, maybe Todd didn't like his interviews.

He was let go, pretty much after that Unparalleled Universe YouTube interview he did which lasted for over 3 hours.

Unparalleled Universe had to take the video down. Tye wasn't heard from pretty much after that. I'm guessing Tye said somethings or showed prototypes of figures McFarlane didn't agree with or approve. He had talked about they as in McFarlane was aware of the height problem with the Superman body which never got corrected and as we all know is still being used. He had talked about figures he would like to see done, too. He showed off prototypes of upcoming figures as I mentioned. I just know Unparalleled Universe was pretty upset he had to take the video down. He hasn't done a review for a DC Multiverse figure since that interview and before the interview he was doing reviews.

Do we know if McFarlane is still going to be doing the drawings for platinum chase figures to buy at normal retail price? Really want the Super Powers Wonder Woman.

In typical fashion, the Wonder Woman that I received from Amazon was the Super Powers version, which I have zero interest in. Does anyone have the regular version and wants to trade 1-1 for the Super Powers version? She's sold out everwhere, because you know, "female action figures don't sell."

@misterskeezler My best friend and I were literally just talking about how dumb the "female figures don't sell" BS is, and how this Wonder Woman figure proves that wrong. I don't collect too many of the McF figures, but I have a small group of them at work...and it drives me crazy that my Justice League is basically a sausage party. No Wonder Woman, no Black Canary, no Big Barda, no Vixen...I could go one and on. The fact this line is four years in, and they are JUST now getting around to a classic WW, and we don't have any of the other ladies I listed, is rather ridiculous.

Agreed, it's so frustrating. And Marvel Legends doesn't seem to have any trouble moving female figures, so I'm hoping McFarlane gets with it.

@misterskeezler I wouldn't count on that happening... ever, lol. Todd made a "joke" about female action figures turning little boys into serial killers.
