wow he looks good! hope he come with some extra hands and gadets

CDN media

Allow me to have the "elbows are too pointy" take on this one. This looks like some random skinny guy wearing Ben's BvS suit. Headsculpt can't tell if it will look like him. Missing that signature butt chin. More than thrilled it's being released. Not holding my breath on height accuracy vs Henry Superman.

I tend to agree. For such a tall guy, Ben looks a bit stumpy in the bat suit. I think it's because he's so big, and then the suit's padding on top of it makes him look a bit weird and stumpy. This figure definitely seems to have the "legs all the way up" issue. Hard to say for sure with such a poor pic, but that's my initial gut reaction.

Having said that, I'll buy it lol Here's hoping they also do Henry's Superman from the movie (although I'd prefer a line of MoS figures...Superman, Zod, Faora, Jor-El).

I can't make any judgements on this one until I see some real pics.  Still, I'm at the point where I look at ANY Todd Batman, good or bad, and say, "Eh, it's just another Batman".  I'm completely indifferent.  There have just been soooooooooooo many.

Anyone else had issues with McFarlane's store and shipping?

You didn't see my post?

Sorry to hear that. The real pain is that the 2nd fig I ordered shipped almost immediately when the initial order hasnt moved at all and all they say is "sorry but we are busy" they cant even give an ETA on dispatch!

They once explained to me that different kind of orders go to different teams. Like preorders just arriving, or in stock items go to a certain team. Bundles go to a certeam team, but bundle + another item, or more than 1 item goes to a diff team and that team seems to get backed up. It was interesting, and made me understand a couple times the same thing happened to me.

In regards to shipping from McFarlane, it is the single biggest reason not to buy from them in my opinion. They have no level at which they offer free shipping. I have had multiple orders where I paid more than $50 just for shipping (for the cheapest slowest option) and I've never had an in stock order arrive in less than 2 weeks from purchase. Both of those points might make sense if I lived in another country -- but I live in Iowa and they're shipping from North Las Vegas. I basically only buy from them now if they have excellent bundle or clearance deals + the 10%-15% coupons. Rarely does the 10% or 15% coupon even cover the shipping cost, regardless of the size of the order. Right now I have in stock orders for holiday sale merchandise that were placed on the 8th and the 11th that have neither one shipped yet. Today is the 25th. It's a good thing that I wasn't purchasing them for Christmas presents....

When it comes to figures, only Entertainment Earth seems to have similarly slow shipping to McFarlane. Big Bad Toy Store, Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart always all seem to be delivered within 1-2 days for me. Gamestop is completely unpredictable in terms of shipping timing as they seem to ship from random stores rather than any warehouse.

Whaaaat? I have ordered a ton of the McFarlane store, tons of bundles, sometimes 2 of a bundle, and I have NEVER paid more than like $25 shipping. *checking the orde of 2 Batwings* shipping was $21. *checking on 2 batman movie 6 packs* $17  flash movie bundle was $13. I live in Indiana, and I hate paying shipping for figures, but the 10% discount almost always offsets it for me. I wouldn't think you're shipping would be any different from mine. I used examples of pretty decent sized shipments.

McFarlane's store is totally disorganized. I've read Facebook posts where people got the wrong figures shipped to them, and McFarlane will hold their actual order until the customer returned the mistakenly sent figures. Just a total nightmare from inability to cancel, high shipping, charging full price right when a pre-order is listed, etc.

Best to avoid unless the item is in stock and on sale. I grabbed the Batman and Robin set and the 15% off holiday code pretty much covered shipping.

I challenge the accuracy of this. I have only experienced EXCELLENT customer service from them. They sent me free figures when they sent me the wrong item, didn't ask me to return it. One time, they messed up a 3 inch Page Puncher bundle, and then messed it up again when they sent the replacement, and then fixed it on the 3rd try lol. When my BAF Bane's wrist broke, they sent me a Scarecrow free of charge. On of my YouTube subscribers told me when Keaton sold out, he emailed them about it, and they sent him a free one they had lying around. I have received numerous additional free figures from them just because, at least 4 with a note saying it is free because the box was slightly damaged (and none were really damaged more than like 5%).

Yep, the shipping charges can be ludicrous. I went back and checked several of my most recent orders. The largest was an order of $392 that included $70.98 shipping (these are always the slowest and cheapest shipping options) and I used the holiday23 coupon which offset the order by $58.79. The second worst was an order for $180 that I was charged $51.05 for shipping. The coupon saved $35.99. Again these are from Nevada to Iowa. Most of my other shipments I looked at during 2023 were for shipping charges of $13-$17 often for $60-$80 worth of goods. I saw they're charging me $9.94 for shipping when they ship one figure (Catman was the example I saw). And I have never received in stock orders from MTS in less than 2 weeks from purchase. Like I said I have orders pending right now for in stock items that were placed on the 8th and the 11th that have not yet been shipped (today is the 27th) and I know from experience that they will take more than a week to arrive once they are shipped. There have been other times when I've gone to place orders and saw the shipping charge and bailed and emptied my cart instead. Based upon your example I went back to check what shipping was for my Batwing and it was only $13.41 (for one), so that one was totally benign compared to a couple of the others.

In regards to service, they failed to include a megafig (Fulcrum Abominus) that I bought once and sent separately free of additional charge after I reached out to them. They've also included a free damaged packaging figure (Hawkman) with my order once. So, I don't have complaints about service, just the shipping (both cost and timeliness). I would argue thought that they should be covering shipping on any order over $100. There is no other vendor that I buy from on a regular basis that charges for shipping. I personally sell a ton on ebay and never charge for shipping, I just know that I can only go so low on pricing because of that.

I wonder if 2024 is lite with comic stuff? Hope not, it is odd they are doing BVS with that universe now officially being toast.  I don't have hopes for the Plastic Man series to being anything other than repaints but who knows.

Interesting, although both the items I ordered were in stock so I am surprised they went to different teams

If I havent heard anything by 31/12 I honestly may just cancel the order

Why do you think it'll be low on comic figures? Does DC have any movies set for next year? And as for Batman, they've already made all the other movie Batmen, so it was high time for BvS Batfleck, especially considering how vocal fans were about getting that batsuit as a figure.

B& R wave Target update - I got Robin, Batgirl and Ivy apparently showing up Sunday. Batman is on backorder still.

TBH, that's a pretty big reach. Most likely it's just because he knows that look will sell since it's pretty popular regardless of how bad the movie itself is. Hell, it might as well be a memorial release for that dead universe.

I do think we'll see more movie stuff, especially Batman as its the Anniversary year but I think comic stuff will definitely be a strong push too.  I'd say also the GL Target releases will keep coming plus we'll have another year long BAF wave too which is personally one of my favourite waves every year now.

Hey I don't anything ya'll don't, but there seems to be more of a pivot towards TAS series and some movie things sprinkled in.  Page Punchers (Superman) got delayed and rebranded.  Just a hunch, I guess we don't know much about next year compared to prior years.

For me I don't get excited about repainted stuff so I might be willfully ignoring a decent quantity of figures for 2024.  I felt more hyped in prior years.
