Welcome back everybody! I’ve been twitching, going through Fwoosh withdrawal ever since SDCC!

First on the agenda: how in bloody blue blazes did Todd get Alan Scott wrong? First wave of the new, extra-special $30 figures … and he can’t get the ring on the correct hand? Infuriating!

Oooh boy the new Megafigs arrived today and just WOW. Anti-Monitor is glorious in articulation, sculpt and detail: he is, indeed, “hand candy”. His head articulation is particularly fabulous, allowing for fun expressions. He is about the height of the recent Doomsday, and much less bulky, so those wanting a HUGE Anti might be disappointed, but he’s just about perfect size for me *unless* they were going to make him like HasLab Galactus size or bigger. As-is, he will have intimidating presence in displays particularly because he can strike so many cool poses. The open, expressive hands really work in that regard.  As for Justice Buster: he is a gigantic beast who looks like he’d stomp Doomsday into grits. It’s got wild, ratcheted articulation that makes this big boi positively gymnastic. It will kick you in the head. Waist/torso joint is a bit loosey-goosey, though. I wasn’t particularly excited about this one, but I think I’ll wind up fiddling with him endlessly. Fun toy. Both fun toys. Clean paint. Had to do a little work to get one of Justy’s biceps joints going, but these are rugged toys and that’s cool. I feel like I can sit on the floor and smash them together while watching cartoons . . . I mean, assuming I wanted to do something like that. Heheheh.

Just got notice from Amazon that the Anti-Monitor is getting ready to charge and ship.    Interested to get him in hand and decide if he supplants my DCUC version in my display.

Got mine from BBTS today, and I'm pretty happy with it.  It will replace the Mattel figure for me, but that is based purely on the design.  This was the version I always wanted.  Of course I wish it was about 3 feet taller... someday...

If McFarlane does a Sinestro Corps repaint, I'll happily buy another one.

Glad to see this forum alive again. Constantine must have brought it back from the underworld.

Speaking of Constantine, I gave mine an upgrade with a new Can Of Beam effect. I'm loving it.

Fun to hear your opinion, ace! Justice Buster is very tempting for me.

I immediately preordered Atomic Skull (Ghost Rider Iron Man!). Great looking figure. Looks like Luthor reuse, but I loved that figure.

Superman characters are some of my favorites. I’d love to see Brainiac, Cyborg Superman, Conduit, and Parasite.

Interesting direction for McF to go as in Dioramas. Opens up all sorts of possibilities. Whilst I cannot support this one, just not a fan of Nolanverse, something Batman 89 would def. warrant my attention.

I received Alan Scott GL, Batman/Spawn set and Abyss yesterday from GameStop. Abyss was the Platinum edition, lol. He looks great in those Taskmaster colors. I pre-ordered another Abyss last night but from Target which has shipped already. I'm hoping this one is the regular release. The Batman/Spawn set is not as bad as I thought it would be and I'm actually liking the new Batman head sculpt. I'm hoping though sometime later the set will go on sale for I want to grab a second set and switch out the head neck piece from the Batman in the set with the single release black and gray Hush Batman coming in Sep or Oct.

I'd be very excited by the 1989 Batcomputer as a Megafig release. We've certainly gotten weirder and less essential Megafigs.

So, the Hawkman figure. Multiverse?? 7 inch??  Its not the best wing articulation on him, but it's still a nice addition to the Justice League

Are the BTAS figs just rereleases of the he older line or are these new? I missed out on the old line and would love to jump on these!

Weeellll shoot, that's 2 more Scarecrow figures to add to the ranks. Kinda bummed the BTAS is just a straight re-release with some cel shading- was hoping for redone figures, or at least a new head with his missing mask, but I'mma still get it, if only for the Condiment King pieces. $30 each is a blow to the wallet though.

Jokerized Scarecrow is cute. It's a fun idea that, at the very least, fits in with the OG marketing of the movie.

Kinda surprised Sinestro is a Target exclusive. For such a fan-demanded character, he could easily be a mainline release. Might snag him if I can go back and find a Yellow Lantern Batman. Would be cool if they got around to Yellow Lantern Scarecrow too.

@dr-langstrom Yep, Hawkman and Sinestro are both 7" and "Collector Editions", so they are each $29.99. It's not my preferred version of Hawkman or Sinestro, but patience isn't one of my virtues, so I PO'ed both. 🙁

I can't pull the trigger on $30 Hawkman and Sinestro.  If I see them in person that may change things, but $10 extra is just too much.
