I'm glad we're finally getting a classic WW. However, there's something off that I just can't put my finger on. The face? The elbows and knees? I don't know.

@valor Classic WW smiled a lot, this one looks kinda upset.  Her hair looks flat, while the retro has volume and more blue.  She also had high heels, this one has flats.  The waist is different, on the classic look it's flat horizontal, this one has the W shape, which to me makes her bottoms look worse.  The stars on her bottoms are too small.  I think the logo on her top goes off too far to the sides.  The shoulders look a little low but it could be the posing assuming they have those circular disc slots.  The elbows could be part of it, the rounded elbows never look great in all poses.  Anyways these are all just my opinions.  It looks a lot like a McF WW lazily repurposed to be a classic WW.  They can do better.  I still like her as a toy, shame she badly needs that neck mod.

Are there any third party sellers that produce replacement pegs? It's a pain to try to pull apart a bunch of figures to find out what size peg they have, especially when I don't want to spare many of them.

That is awesome. I hope Amazon gets their orders in soon. I'm just hoping I don't end up with the Super Friends version. There's nothing on the product description that calls it out, but I know they sometimes show up...was there a second listing for that one?

I wasn't able to preorder WW, but I'm assuming she'll pop back up again.  Non-exclusive McF figures seem easy enough to obtain in time.

Hoping for the same. Missed the PO but she looks great. Fingers crossed.

My Wonder Woman is in USPS tracking purgatory. McFarlane store shipped it on Tues, but no tracking updates since. 🤔

The status of my Wonder Woman pre-order from Target, that was scheduled to ship on Dec. 26th, has now changed to "Backordered". {sigh} 😐

This is probably the last time I order direct from McFarlane Toys Store. I realize it's busy season, so mistakes & delays may occur. Also know about them having problems with USPS picking up their outgoing orders as I've had previous orders sit for days.

They sent my tracking number on Tues. Fine, expected USPS to pick it up by end of day Tuesday. Nope. Wednesday. Nope. Tracking finally updated this afternoon 2 days later. 2 days of no tracking updates as if it hadn't shipped. The shipping service is Ground Advantage instead of Priority Mail which I selected. WTF?!

Initially showed a delivery date of 12/26, now updated to 12/23 since I'm one state over. I emailed them about it, they apologized. The shipping price difference is negligible. If you're all the way across the country, the delay would have mattered. Just the wasted time & entire experience has been utterly disappointing

Man... the RBF on that Wonder Woman head sculpt is too much for me.  I think maybe it's a combo of disappointed and irritated that is too familiar and triggering PTSD    😆

@ninjak same thing happened with Captain Carrot, I'm guessing it's just a delay.  Amazon and Target delayed their CC wave figures to Jan 5th, it might be the same window for WW.

You nailed the problems I couldn't quite put my finger on. I think I'll only get her if I can do so at clearance. It's not worth full price.

So I was bit by the DC Multiverse bug hard this year. All of the classic costume releases got me. I've picked up a few JLA members like that new Classic Wonder Wioman, Martian Manhunter, Blue Beetle and Flash. Several Bat Family and rogues Gallery members..Most recently I've been on a bit of a Superman binge and I've must have purchased about 10 figures alone including some variations like AC #1000, Hush and AC #1 platinum edition, Plus Supergirl Rebirth, Superboy Prime, Zod, Mongul, Kaliback, Lex Luthor in his power suit, Mullet Supes, Bizarro/Batzarro 2-pack and Atomic Skull 2-pack. The crazy thing is I really haven't been a fan of Superman since his death and resurrection in the 90's but I haven't been able to stop myself. As far as I'm concerned, this is how my midlife crisis is manifesting itself.

Once I'm done here I have no idea where I'll go next. Maybe I'll start buying more JLA and even JSA members? Who freaking knows anymore.
