The level of laziness on that Batzarro is shocking. Shocking that this is trying to be passed off to adult collectors. The bat symbol that is superimposed over the old reuse is not even the same style.
I'm to the point where I don't know what to think about this line anymore. There's some stuff that looks so good......and then there's some stuff that looks like an amateur customizer's first attempt.

That last sentence perfectly sums it up. My frustration is that the inconsistency leaves me very torn on what to collect.
I'm a lot less likely to buy the full team if 2 or 3 core characters are duds. Mullet Superman and roided Tim Drake put a halt to my 90s collection even after I sold off many other figures to focus on this era. What good is a wonderful classic Riddler and Zero Hour Hawkman if we don't have quality figures of Batman, Robin, and Superman to go with them?
And thus, I sit in limbo. Part of me wants to sell the rest of the classics and fill in my missing DCUC gaps. I'm still thrilled with McFarlane's modern Bat Family (Ghost Maker, Grifter, Signal, etc.), Titans, and psyched for the Batman & Robin stuff.

Or an Impulse that's taller than Flash?
I would have loved to build a 90's set of characters, but I can't overlook this inconsistency anymore.
McF has always been disappointing to me, but it’s bittersweet knowing the figures were getting better and then seem to have taken a general turn for the worse. At the same time though, some of this years releases were great.
I’ve reconsidered and I dont think I’m going for this new Superman. It’s alright looking to me, but I forgot the range of motion on Page Punchers Superman’s hips were very limited by his trunks, and half of the elbow joint was hideous when bent. Also I have 4 McF Superman figures because the company can’t quite get it right, so I’m not paying for another attempt unless I’m 99% satisfied with the result and sure the figure improves upon the issues I had with the others I already own. Not rewarding the company for screwing up anymore.
The level of disappointment I have with McFarlane lately has taken away much of my desire to come here and discuss.
Let's see:
- Wonder Woman: the chase variant, as predicted, is the Super Powers deco that will likely go up to stupid prices on the secondary market along with SP Mr. Freeze. The sculpt, meanwhile, is lacking in certain places, particularly the face and the knees, though that's probably just me.
It is not just you. I think the face looks awful. I've been trying to figure out why no one else cares... is it just me, or is everyone so desperate for a normal Wonder Woman that they'll take whatever they can get?

I think that's exactly what's happening, and not just with WW. There's a lot of blind support for Multiverse on Instagram, though here it's much less. There are people on McFarlane's Instagram account raving about every release. They either have zero standards or are fake accounts used to counteract the criticism.
I won't go as far as to say that everything McFarlane is doing with Multiverse is without merit, but I will also point out the lazy reuse and poor design choices. As fans and customers, we should absolutely give feedback and more importantly, vote with our wallets. I'm largely done with Multiverse and will be putting that money toward SP, NECA, and whatever Mattel decides to do with the remaining vintage MOTU characters in Origins.
Does anyone know if there's been any leaks for figures for the Suicide Squad game that's coming out? Was kinda disappointed we didn't get any of the villains from Gotham Knights, but the 4 figures we did get were pretty good (aside from Red Hood lacking his weapons) and I'm hoping we could get a good Harley figure out of a wave for the game.

OR, stay with me here, it could be that people just ENJOY what he's putting out. Not everyone is super nitpicky about things they collect.
Not everyone that has a different opinion to yours on social media is a fake or bot account.
Feels like McFarlane is finally going Marvel Legends with painted-on costume details rather than sculpted. That Nightwing looks like they really cheaped out.
Knightfall knightwing coming soon, preorder start 12/8
Looks nice and glad to get a figure in this costume - just wish he had a bit more of the "mullet" hair at the back like he had in the 90's
Crap figure.
I've been on the Fwoosh forum for many years (exclusively DC, pretty much), and it's just not fun to visit anymore. For every one comment /post where someone is excited about an upcoming figure, there's at least 3-4 complaining, complaining, complaining.
I understand that's very much the nature of these kinds of online message boards, so really just venting. I do know that if I had a hobby that made me more upset than happy, I'd probably drop it (and not post about it anymore).
Just my 2 cents, not directed at anyone in particular.
I think Nightwing looks awesome. I’ve got zero problem with reuse when it works. And this works.

I'd say McF has earned the negative feed back recently. Or should we only post if we have something positive to say? I'm not, like, angry about it. Just wish this line was a little more consistent.
