That classic [Page Punchers] Superman is a pass for me. Better smiling head, but the head sculpt looks like some random dude. The cape is just bad, hopefully the hands/fists are smaller.

Already repainted my own & fortuitously just posted this with all my McFarlane Supermans yesterday on my site.

@new-batman I’m nervous with how the New 52 Court Of Owls said Rebirth. I hope it’s not a re-reuse of that small scale Rebirth Batman, New 52 needs to be on a new sculpt or a bigger/better Body sculpt. I’ve been waiting for a new 52 Batman for really long since Rebirth Batman was a let down. I’m hoping Todd doesn’t let me down.

Yeah...but sadly I 100% expect that Rebirth Batman whose arms, legs and torso look like they belong to 3 different people. I would love a new, well done, sculpt. It should be new. 2 years ago I would have been excited but not what I see anymore.

Very excited for the 30th Anniversary Spawn line though! Hope it's a couple series at least. Plus the Kickstarter. He mentioned classic Darkseid coming soon and Punchline on his YouTube stream last night BTW

@kryptonian it's a great sculpt for a muted realistic Superman- like Bermejo or Earth One. Gary Frank etc. It just doesn't work for me in these colors. Should be an all new body and nearly everyone feels that way

That Page Punchers Superman figure looks nice as a classic Superman. I like the new head sculpt. I would prefer the classic belt and then it would be perfect. If I decide to get it, I will wait for it to go on sale. I already have a few McFarlane Superman figures. Why pay full price for something that isn't done right?

The New Superman is a instant buy for me. I think he will great with Knightfall Batman. If for some reason he comes out too short then he shall be called Superboy in my collection!

Don't know if anyone watched uncle Todd's town hall yesterday. Quite insightful views on the business, keeping prices low/accessible, on why they do NFTs, on collecting (rarity factor), Comic Darkseid announcement imminent & we're most likely getting all the Batmobiles!

I got really excited for this only to be let down. It's just the Page Puncher Superman repainted, which is undersized and doesn't even have the right belt. I want to think with all the new Superman coming out we'll get one right eventually.

People talk about the head, but who cares. It's still the wrong sleeves, trunks and undersized

You can speak for yourself. 

I'm quite happy with the kitbashed custom I made using an Ivy infected Hush Superman and Rebirth Supes parts with a custom soft goods cape.

@sgtstinky he's going to be basically as tall as Knightfall is.

oh ok so hes a P.Puncher supes. thats not a bad thing. the legs are better on those page punchers. this will replace the first supes that todd made. the chest symbol is the rite size now. the first supes chest symbol was too big imo. the first supes was also slighty 'top heavy'

Yeah I pulled out my Action Comics #1000 Supes after seeing this pic to compare.

For me AC1000 still comes out ahead over this version.

I like the trunks/belt and blue of the uniform better on AC1000.  Also, from what I can see, I prefer AC1000's cape.  However I can't get a good look at this new one's yet.

The head sculpt and symbol are a wash for me.  I like both head sculpts, and I think the symbol is more a preference than anything else.  I don't mind the slightly larger version on AC1000, but I also like this one as well.

So for now I'll stick with my AC1000.
