Now that i see the full figure of Carrot. he looks alittle too muscular/bulky for my taste. the variant of carrot looks better though.

Fun fact: Captain carrot is Bugs bunny brother.

Looks like Captain Carrot is selling out quick at regular retailers.  I pre-ordered off McToy Store.

Platinum Captain Carrot is a much better figure than the regular one. Paying $30 is bad enough but having to hunt for these variants, every time I see one I want I just roll my eyes and it makes me sour a bit on buying them.

@pg-superfan What's with that question? Have I ever, in the entirity of the last 3 (or whoever many) years Todd's had the license said "fuck, I love the crappy painted over details, lemme buy all of them figgurs"? I'm actually praising the Lantern/Tornado reuse because they've finally made it work, imo. In general I'm quite a big opponent of reuse and especially bucks like in ML.

As for the 3 new figures - rabbit looks pretty cool, love the details and everything but it's not something I want or need. Superman has nice bright colors, like the long hair and Krypto is ok for me with the raised leg and looking up - he's either staring at Clark or getting ready to fly, and that's cool. Batman is fine, whatever.

dang, Platinum Captain Carrot has some 'tude.  Not really a big fan of this whole chase system.  Still have bad memories of getting ordering and receiving multiple grey DKR Robins in a row to the point where I didn't even want it anymore.

Product manager at McFarlane will say, "that's what we were going for" (while also re-using the body). 😆

Dangit -  the platinum edition of Captain Carrot is so much better than the regular version.  What the heck.   That's just mean.   I won't be holding my breath for it I guess.

Yeah Bogdanove was what came to mind when I saw that disaster of a "Collector Edition" figure.  I fear Page Punchers is done too.  That Superman series I wanted got moved to Gold Label at $30.  From the sound of it, that line was more comic accurate anyhow but who knows.  Page Punchers was the saving grace for me, but if they all look good I would excited.  Just no reason to trust Todd anymore.

Tornado is on the Alan Scott body??  He and Diana look really good I think.  Hope the next batch of Batman(s) are inspired and Kilowog better be cool.

I like the Animal Man figure. He started out without a jacket, so it doesn't bother me he doesn't have a jacket. Red Tornado is ok. I'm not crazy about the belt buckle or the discs holding the cape instead of his collar but I could live with it. These figures are usually easy to find at Target, however lately I have been having an easier time finding the Walmart Gold Label figures as well. I do like the Wonder Woman figure, I just wonder what the Platinum Edition will look like. I don't know about the gold paint on Red Tornado or Wonder Woman, that usually darkens or turns green over time.

I can do without Green Lantern Batman, Incredible Hulk Superman or Captain Carrot. I never got the DC Direct Green Lantern Batman, so I don't need this one either. So far there is Dawnbreaker, GL Batman, Sinestro Corps Batman & Batrocitus. I like both version of the Captain Carrot figures but I never read the comic book. I could see the Justice Incarnate version with my collection, but I don't have to have it for $30. Maybe if it is on sale, if it doesn't sell out. It does seem like something a lot of collectors would buy. I wonder if McFarlane will Jokerize Captain Carrot.

We still haven't seen the Owlman, Superman or Nightwing figures that were shown with Animal Man & Red Tornado. I wonder if any of those will be Collector's Editions with Wonder Woman instead of New 52 Batman & Rebirth Aquaman that were shown at SDCC. Unless they are still part of the NFT wave.

Also, where are Steel & Cyborg Superman?

Red Tornado looks pretty good. Now hopefully they fill out some more of the JLA.

That means will still need a classic Green Arrow, Atom, Black Canary, Hawkgirl & Zatanna. They can use the Plastic Man buck to make Elongated Man.
