Just came across this on facebook. So there's going to be a CE edition of WW separate from the NFT bullshit wave.
This might be a little sad, but I'd be willing to pay the ten extra bucks just to avoid the NFT garbage, lol.
Both Red Tornado and Animal Man look pretty good, though I do agree that Animal Man should really have his jacket. Not a favorite character of mine, but he just looks... incomplete. On the topic of a potential Captain Marvel using RT as a starting point, I'd be interested. The build is about right for him, and all they'd really need to do is come up with a new headsculpt and cape. If anything, the boots are a bit too tall for his classic design, but I'd be ok with that. This is also a situation where I would want them to just paint the lightning bolt onto his chest rather than adding it with sculpted detail.
December 16th release up on Amazon.

Oh damn, why does the dog have one foot off the ground. dropped the ball there toddy. ill pass on the dog UNLESS i modd it. thanks for the pic Kryptonian.
I'm not a tech guy so I don't understand the NFT thing. Are you just supposed to look at the image of the figure on your computer? Surely that cannot be the case.
Anyway, as far as WW goes, she looks good. Really good. $30 really good? Eh......I guess so.....maybe? One can't help but look at this and think if you took that decent spread of accessories and put some of them behind the main plastic tray holding the figure (like they would sometimes do in the old days when they were more resourceful with their allotted packaging space) and if they removed the card stand completely, they could shave 1/3 if not 1/2 off of the packaging. But yeah, if I saw this on the shelf I don't know that I could pass.
I wonder if Todd's going to make it where the more requested figures are $30 and endless Batmans and characters of the like are $20ish? That would be unfortunate. But there's seems to be so many "collector's editions" coming out that we could be looking at a new normal. Too expensive for me to be all in on, but if you're going to make an exception, WW would have to be one of them.
I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped it. The NFT trend seems to have fizzled out quickly.
As twisted as it is, I will definitely pay $30 to avoid even touching the bitcoin-bozo nonsense with NFT trash. Diana does look awesome.
Wonder Woman looks great. McFarlane has somehow given us a decent enough mid 2000s era characters and I'm here for them all.
I'd rather just ditch the card stand though. It's extra plastic that ends up in a storage box forever. There is no purpose to it and I'd rather not see it used to charge us more.
That Superman card has a picture of probably the skinniest Superman I've seen. I swear they are trolling us. Krypto doesn't look great though (one leg off the ground and he's staring up?) so there's no justification to buy it unless it's on major clearance.
@mysticmanjrf My concern is that McFarlane is going to use the whole body for a Classic Shazam.
They painted Red Tornado's "Alan Scott" belt and buckle gold despite Reddy never having a buckle.
Why can't McFarlane just make some blank bodies? Every single body has boots or belts or gloves or armor and the redecos just paint overtop them. It really drives me nuts in a way that it wouldn't if they just abandoned sculpted details on costumes entirely and only repainted those and then never redecoed anything with sculpted details.
I for one would just straight up drop the line if they abandoned sculpted detail.
So you're fine with paint and sculpt contradicting one another?
Would you be okay with Wonder Woman Designed by Todd McFarlane being painted blue and gray with a sloppy Batman logo on the chest?
Because stuff like Power Ring, Rebirth Superman, and Red Tornado are a step away from that. It's painting over one character's details on top of another.
If that's a must-have for you then I suppose I'd be fine with losing you as a fellow collector if it stopped.
The Platinum variants are ridiculous. I'm only interested in the classic Hawkman, so of course it's a chase variant. Platinum Captain Carrot is far more appealing to me, but it's another variant. If I stumble upon them in the wild, I'll buy them. But I will not buy the regular versions. Just make these things store exclusives versus some weird 90s throwback collecting lottery.
I don't mind having a thick Superman figure. Fits the 90s look. I really haven't been following body reuse in this line. What body is this Superman using? Is it that thick but short one used for the infected Superman?

Dark Knight Returns
Collector Edition Wonder Woman a bit of disappointment for me. Annoyed it's $30 to include that stand which I won't even remove from the box. The sword, shield, axe are re-use repaints from Endless Winter.
Most are already salivating saying this is worth the "Collector Edition $30". It will sell well.
The hand choices continue to be baffling. Always those annoying open hand triggers x2 on Manta!
