Keep the new sculpts coming and stop overusing the worst bodies like BB and Infected. And, really, I'm as far as someone can be from being a ML fan, honestly.
I heard it's a Plastic Man BAF wave with classic JLA versions of Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern. So you buy those 4 figures to build Plastic Man.

My biggest issue with McF is the treatment he gives Superman vs Batman and also not using the right bodies and headsculpts that were not sculpted well to begin with.
Thoughts on recent reveals/rumors:
Superman and Krypto: it's not that Todd doesn't know what he's doing, it's that he doesn't care. He's likely heard about the Infected reuse criticisms, so he had his designers go with a long-haired head on a different Superman body. Doesn't matter that it's not A) accurate at all or B) a new body or C) a better body for the character. All that matters is that Todd can say, "Look, I heard your complaints, here's a different reused body."
Krypto, meanwhile, looks like one of those Schleich figurines. No artic, not even a head for some expressiveness. I can cobble together a better Krypto and won't have to be saddled with another half-ass Superman figure.
Plastic Man BAF: If true, I suspect Superman will be the Page Punchers body with the lighter colors, which we've already seen. Same thing applies: doesn't matter that it's not faithful to the era or a new body.
Todd simply doesn't care about what many (or maybe even just some) fans want. At all. Compare with, let's say, NECA, who doesn't always give every fan what they want but at least tries to please as many people as possible. This is not McFarlane's approach. Even if he'd reply directly to fans occasionally despite having no intention to give them what they want, he'd seem like a sympathetic guy at least.
At this point, he comes off as uninterested in putting any real money or quality into anything that doesn't have some relation to Batman. You could say that's a WBD/DC mandate, but I don't think it is.

With the exception of Sinestro, those Super Powers figures seem like wasted opportunities. I wish the line would continue with more vintage offerings like Deathstroke, but we're seeing Justice Lords Superman and gold variants. Bummer.
Wonder if those BTAS figures have a new Build-A-Figure. Otherwise, all those Multiverse repaints are a pass from me.
Yeah, because no other toy companies ever reuse base bodies for different figures. Except for ALL OF THEM. But for some reason some people act like that only McFarlane Toys should use original sculpts for every single one of their figures, even if they share similar body types. Because reasons.
If anything McFarlane reuses base bodies less than almost any other big company out there. So it comes off just sounding like hating on McFarlane because you have a bone to pick.
If you hate companies that reuse the same sculpts for multiple characters, then you must really hate Hasbro's Marvel Legends, and you must have totally despised Mattel's DCUC line because it was literally 90% reuse. And let's not forget Neca, and Hot Toys, and Mezco, and pretty much every action figure company in existence.
To me, it's not about the reuse (I absolutely love the matching scale of DCUC). It's about improper reuse. Why is Black Lightning on the Speeding Bullets base body? It gives the figure two belts and weird sculpted arm and leg textures. Why is Eradicator on a base body that gives him added cuffs and boots in the sculpt? Why is Return of Superman Supes on a massive bulky body? These are easily avoidable if the correct base body is used. But it just comes off cheap as is, which is a problem as prices are going up...

A Kelley Jones Batman and a First Appearance Batman?! Depending upon how they look, those two would get me to buy my first McFarlane figures in a very long time. I hope that’s true, and that they come out great. The head on that new GL Batman that was just shown would make for a solid Kelley Jones figure. And a Red Rain/Bloodstorm variant as well. 🙂
I don't think the issue is reuse, it's bad reuse and more importantly as Val-Or said - Todd doesn't respect the material. King Spawn was revealed and not what I wanted. It's what I expected. I at least see some new pieces and I may also mod it a bit then live to fight another day.
With DC why is Carrotman a badass looking body but he cannot get Superman right? And he's buds with Jim Lee. There is always a chance these leaks will turn out good, but after 2023 I only expect nonsense. It's a shame because these days used to be so exciting for me.
Nonetheless I will still buy his Spawn stuff and it will likely be cool. a New52 Batman and a Kelley Jones Batman should be amazing! But we shall see. I also think he's pivoting a lot into TAS stuff and less comic.

I expect the leaks to be 100% true. They always are. But yes, temper that excitement because who knows how they will turn out.
