(regarding LooseCollector)
Very recently he teased Grendel and possibly Evil Ernie, but not in The Vault.Β It's a new line called Iconic Heroes and the logo is very reminiscent of Legendary Comic Book Heroes.Β Grendel was actually one of the LCBH figures we didn't get.Β I want Youngblood.Β Β
Β
Yeah -Β Iconic Heroes by LC could be problems for me.Β Β The base starting price per figure is so high, but the figures are nice.Β Β Will be all the way in if he drops a Grendel figure and will be watching carefully for what he does after that.

I don't own any of his figures because they don't appeal to me except for Hyde.Β This would be a game changer though - I have wanted something like this for a long time.Β
Β
Not even his Red Sonja?Β Β That figure is super nice and she's a classic Marvel heroine if you're a child of the 70's.Β Β Surprises me that you wouldn't be tempted by that one.
Β
Actually yes she does.Β I am frequenting his page more lately and that's after Hyde for me. I just spent so much on Transformers that I'm pretty committed to it and with Todd or NECA I kind of unofficially stopped with 6 inch.Β But like you said, it's gonna be trouble.Β Start getting your piggy bank ready because as sure as the Sun rises tomorrow Grendel is on the way.Β
Β
Yep... I'm getting already getting ready 😉Β
From what I've heard, the 89 Batmobile has another run coming and it sounds like McFarlane wants to milk 90s Batman, delaying Keaton and working his way backwards while building up a following for the whole collection.
I'd be surprised if we didn't also get Kilmer and Clooney's alternate costumes (which would heavily reuse one another) and Bane. Possibly a second Ivy, alternate Riddler, etc.
None of this would surprise me and I would take all of the above.Β I'm fine with Todd working backwards through the 90's Batman films, I'm just excited to see what we get.Β It's interesting that I find the Schumacker films tolerable at best and yet I'm excited for these figures.Β I think they're visually interesting enough to make some nice toys.
Making Bane the BAF for the Batman Forever wave is something I never thought of but it makes great sense.Β Really no BAF-worthy character from Forever, but B&R has two.Β I say do it.
That Mattel Penguin, BTW, scales just fine with Todd's 7" stuff, so I'm in no rush on him.Β But I'm sure Todd will do his own when he gets to those films.

This sums up my thoughts on these. I can't believe how much I like them but they are just great representations of a film that still brings me joy, even if I have to watch it as a comedy now.
I'm more disappointed with Poison Ivy's height than Freeze's lack of paint. Poison Ivy is way too tall. At least that Freeze sculpt is a 10/10 and a silver/chrome dry brush will make him pop.Β
Also saw some comparisons of the 6 pack Clooney and this one. Aside from the rubber cape, it looks like the new Clooney has a dark grey as opposed to the very deep navy blue that the 6 pack had. I'll be interested to see how these look in hand but I'm leaning towards keeping the 6 pack version.

Here's to hoping a classic Poison Ivy to follow soon. New head really all that's needed.
Another overseas review, the full Batman & Robin baf waveΒ

Precisely the reason she's the only one I bought.Β I'm keeping Keaton as my default 80s/90s Batman and will likely just add the various villains from the Burton/Schumacher films.Β Don't know that I need a movie Bane, but to be quite honest, just putting a decent looking head from any redhead on this Ivy may be all I need in the end.

I was able to take advantage of the sale just now for the Aquaman wave. I will return the unopened figures this weekend and will have saved $25 and add Supergirl as well for another $5. I purchased an extra of the Aquaman Mega figure and had received some Red Circle dollars I wasn't aware of and saved an extra $6.35 on that big boy so in total one of the Mega figures only cost $27.95 instead of $39.99. I also pre-ordered again Midnighter and Waverider saving that $10 and canceled my previous pre-orders. I was able to pre-order the Freeze BAF wave except for Robin. I found them on Amazon and put a pre-order on there for Robin. Hopefully Robin will come back up for pre-order before the sales ends. I discovered I had purchased 12 GI Joe Classified Crimson Vipers instead of my regular 6-8 for army builders so took advantage and returned 4 to Amazon this week for credit and grabbed the Superman/Atomic Skull and the Clayface/Batman/Batwoman sets and paid only $10.92. It was a pretty good week for me for DC.

I don't know.Β If you google some promo pics of Ah-nud and Uma standing next to each other in full costume, those heights match up pretty good.

Iβm wondering if Supergirlβs head will be too large for Poison Ivy. Β

Uma Thurman is actually taller than all the heroes in the movie except Clooney (same height but she's taller than him in heels) and they're both around 3 inches shorter than Arnold but she's pretty close in heels.

I ordered the full set - I had a few McFarlane figures but traded or sold them off, I think I may have Kyle Raynor still somewhere in my "toybox" but the nostalgia from these was too much for me not to pull the trigger. I've liked his figures for the most part so am looking forward to seeing whom else he adds. Hell, I'd even take a Chase Meridian from Forever too. I probably saw that movie 20 times back in the day.
