Saw this on facebook, not sure how reliable this info is but hey, I'll post it anyway. Nightwing is on the BB body. And besides that there's even more reuse coming. This shit is starting to hurt.
That Nightwing looks laughable if true.
On an unrelated note, I found a Platinum Hawkman @ Target yesterday!
I bought it with the hope someone will trade an SDCC Knightfall Batman for Platinum Hawkman.
It seems a fair trade since both MSRP are $30 but the after-market going rate is about $60 for either.
I'm in a weird spot where I'd love to downsize, but I don't want to just give things away because I sunk so much cash into them...I also know that nobody is getting rich off of selling figures, and I never expected to get anything close to the original cost back, but still lol Maybe it's easier to swallow when you see the space it frees up lol
I get this dilemma - but the reality is that the stuff you already bought is a sunk cost. If you don't want it around any more, if you need to free up space, or whatever - any money you get back is money you have now instead of a chunk of plastic you don't want. And once in awhile you have that one piece that goes for way more than you expect.
It is effort, and the return isn't often dramatic, but freeing up space and pocketing at least some cash can be nice. And - the fact that you aren't turning a huge profit per figure means you likely won't have a tax bill for your sales at the end of the year.
Posted in the batbmobile thread, but I'll cross post my copy+paste
89 Batmobile is in stock for $75 shipped and sold by Amazon as of 2pm EST. I click the link ever few hours for haha's. Ordered 2 - one to open and one to customize the hood. At best I get both, at one .Fingers crossed!

Red Tornado would be very cool
Facebook Marketplace and sell stuff in lots. You'll get both the local fans like yourself, as well as people who buy stuff in bulk to try to pass off for more. Plus you'll be getting rid of stuff en masse, people wont be picking through deciding they don't want certain things so you're stuck with them, and there's essentially no cost to you when Facebook asks and you didn't complete a transaction.
I get so many scammers on Facebook Marketplace that it's almost a bigger hassle to sell there than it is on Ebay. It's easy to recognize the scams, but the second I post anything I immediately get 5 or 6 scammers right off the bat.
Marketplace is worth a shot, but only with the caveat that you may have to put up with a bunch of nonsense initially.
That head sculpt for Nightwing is too big. I simply don't understand how McF's design them thinks Alan Scott is good fit for Red Tornado. It's an android body similar to Vision's in Marvel Comics. I'm thinking of selling off all my comic related figures and I have around 100 or so still in box. However to avoid the hassle of ebay just gong to take them to 2nd & Charles and have them buy them.

Ok that may be THE Superman from Todd. Thank god for not another Infected reuse.
Red Tornado looks surprisingly good, I'm intereasted to see more of him for sure.
And I'll be buying Owlman 100% if he doesn't end up being an exclusive once more. But even this one is just basically reuse of the older figure.
Don't care for anything on the that crap BB body, though.
Red Tornado appears to be a home run (and those boots definitely fit for a classic Shazam) but the others are frustrating for one reason...the calf reuse.
The Blue Beetle body was only accurate for his costume. They've now re-used the boots inaccurately for Booster Gold, Riddler, Captain Atom, Nightwing, and Animal Man. 1 figure that's accurate for 5 inaccurate ones. Maybe just sculpt some smooth calves for this mold so it all looks consistent. Or use Deadman boots for Captain Atom.
Page Punchers Superman as well...all it takes is one new sculpt with proper wrists, boots, and trunks/belt and you use that on this Superman body for all eternity.
Most of these figures are close to perfect. Probably a purchase at $20 (minus Superman and Robin) but the only one worth collector price is Red Tornado. I honestly think Nightwing should have been on this mold to begin with. Closest to his true build given the scale of other classics. I remember him being drawn closer to this look (more in tights than having the yellow pieces accentuated as armor) so I'm pretty excited for that figure in particular, pending final photos.
That's a huge disappointment if Classic Superman releases as a re-painted Page Punchers body, same cape mold with same oversized hands & not great (small) head.
Was expecting it to be more like this.
Never liked the blue classic Nitewing suit. Supes looks great BUT he looks alittle narrow in the shoulders. they did improve the legs on Supes, which is good. Red tornado & Owly looks fire!
Well, I now have enough spare Supermen to swap the hands and trunks. Seeing as this is probably my 7th or 8th time buying just a regular Superman.
Soeaking of swapping, I found this Supergirl custom on Instagram:
Only paint used is the gold trim and blue paint for the skirt.
Here is a YouTube video with all the new Multiverse reveals covered.
the 1997 batman & robin wave announced, preorder starts 11/8.
love this video! very clever...
I have to give it up to Todd on this newest wave with Animal Man, Red Tornado and 80's Nightwing. If this is where the line started I might have been more tempted to switch scales and collect this line. This is a solid wave with Damien being the one that doesn't even remotely tempt me.
