After seeing the pics, the original wings on Hawkman look better than the Sky Tyrant wings. The Sky Tyrant wings look smaller, like they belong on a smaller figure. They might work for a 6" figure. 

Yesterday was the first Monday I didn't get an email from Amazon changing the shipping date for the Batman 6 pack movie figures I ordered. I guess they will be delivered on October 18, fingers crossed. I was going to cancel & order from gamestop but they weren't available when I checked.

I got that same delay email...for the 13th time. I'll believe that 18th date when they finally ship it.

Didn't want to get any these Collector Editions due the $30 prices...ended up ordering the bundle to ship with the truly magnificent Brainiac utilizing the PUNCH15 from McFarlane Toys Store.

As someone who really got into comics in the 90's, I was pretty pumped for Waverider because I thought he'd be the classic version. I'll pass on this one and hope for a more 90's style one in the future. I was going to display him sort of in the background of Superman vs Doomsday, sort of evoking the "Legacy of Superman" story where he went back in time to witness the fight and wanted to alter history. Ah, well. 

I've cooled massively on McFarlane's product this year, and mostly on collecting as a whole besides for some 1/6 scale stuff. I know the reasons for re-use, and I agree with those reasons for re-use, but it seems like everything I would normally be interested in now is re-use and I never realized before McFarlane just how annoying it is lol I think its time to go through my collection and do some heavy, heavy pruning. What do you guys recommend? ebay for stuff like that? Is that whole "sell over $600 and you owe taxes" thing still in effect? 

I saw that they had the variant for Brainiac in that EQL drawing system...I was not chosen again, though I have entered every single drawing they've done except for 1. It's cool, though, because it said that by not winning they have bumped my chances for next time! 🤣  I've seen people mention that they have won it multiple times, so I'm starting to wonder if you have to be regularly purchasing product from MTS in order to win (most of my online purchases are Target/Amazon/BBTS). 

Any word on a New 52 Batman???!

Any word on a New 52 Batman???!

Yeah it's been leaked for some time but they don't reveal anything until like right before it ships which I find annoying as hell.  Haven't seen the Superman Page Punchers either.

And TheRealSmallville I sold a chunk of my McFarlane stuff on ebay after hating the Batman/Spawn 2 pack.  I did order the 2 figure Spawn wave from his store and got them last week, but otherwise stuck to my guns and don't buy the line anymore. 

I'm actually happy with other lines and used my sales to fund The Ghost.  McFarlane was on a roll in 2021 and it just hasn't been it since.  Now I think it's just bad.  No offense to anyone, but I think the figures look worse, not appealing to me at all.  Proportions still an issue along with over texturing everything.  Reuse in and of itself makes sense, but there is NO plan.  You can't make all these unique sculpts with insane detail then think it works for other characters.  Make new smooth bodies if this is what you want now.  Can't have both.

I expect King Spawn to be another reissue that's an easy pass.  Superman Page Punchers I still think will be cool, but probably too late to care for me.

@ditko I quickly got off of the McFarlane DC bandwagon in late '21, early '22. 

I, like you, was tired of the whacked out proportions, the God awful overuse of texturing, the odd character choices and sculpt choices of characters. It was just a boring line to me. 

So I sold everything off.

Yeah, it's getting REALLY annoying. I want the damned thing, but I know it's going to be a bit of a let down when it DOES get here.

I just got a new delay email today with no date in it for the Batman 6 pack. Pretty much they'll let me know when it's in stock. The more I think about it, I might cancel the order. I wanted it mainly for Keaton Batman, it looks painted correctly (yellow oval instead of gold and gold belt). It contains Kilmer Batman, but that may eventually get released in a BAF set like the Batman & Robin figures. If I get it, I'll have doubles of everything. I could just sell them I guess. I really don't want another Pattison Batman (hated that movie and will not watch the sequel).

@blankslate   I feel you.  The Collector Edition sounded promising but is horrible.  It's no skin off my teeth to get 3-5 Spawn figures a year, if I still want, but not sure what else could tempt me.  It's more the exception than the rule, and back in 2021 it was the total opposite.  I will keep the Merciless series for all time probably, loved that set.
