Yeah, it will be interesting to see what the price point is for those Ross exclusives being that they're mostly straight re-issues with minimalist packaging and being sold at a discount store. I could actually see those potentially being less than $20. It's possible that I'm being too optimistic, though.
@stephenwdavis I want to say 19.99, but I could see them at the old price point of 22.99, seeing Target now pricing regular Multiverse at 24.99.
Everyone finding Eradicator Platinum at their Targets & none in my area. Confirmed on feebay. No sellers within 300 mile radius. Meanwhile, some stores getting a full case of 6. The factory packing is bonkers...or it's just poor Target distribution.
Which is the most accurate Superboy we've gotten / are getting do the Death of Superman/Reign of the Supermen storyline? I know folks are selling leather jackets custom made especially for this new one. Don't want a Mafex as the aesthetics don't match the rest of the line design to my tastes.
Kinda odd that Steve Trevor comes with a McFarlane-looking Glock given the era he's supposed to be in.
As a longtime Fwoosh user, it's really a bummer how slow these boards have gotten, almost makes me miss Tommy Tomorrow! I'm chalking it up to all of the crashes/disruptions over the years; in prior iterations, there were almost daily postings, even when new figures hadn't been announced (although yesterday they revealed the PO date for the classic Wonder Woman & Superboy PP wave, not a peep on this board).
In any case, my poor impulse control got the better of me yet again, and I ordered the Troika and No Man's Land Batman figures from overseas sellers, should be here in a week or 2. I know the Troika is 99% reuse, but that head sculpt is probably about as close as we're going to get to a Kelley Jones Batman in this line.
The No Man's Land Batman, while not exactly accurate to the story (Todd being Todd, the platinum of course is), will definitely make for a great Bronze Age Batman, once I swap out the diaper for one with a capsule belt. I've always been a fan of the darker blue for this look, not so much the 'Super Powers' powder blue.
@bat1975 they are over at the other board. Tommy is there too. https://articulatedthoughts.com/forums/dc-toys/
Yep. I joined the other board during the last down time here. A lot have migrated over there. I still like checking over here to though. I really am loving my last 4 Multiverse pick ups- SA Superman, Dr. Fate, Jim Gordon and Cowardly Lot Batman. I have been playing with them constantly! I passed on Cowardly Lot Batman the first time I saw him in Gamestop. I watched reviews of him and regretted it. I came across him at Target last week and quickly snatched him up. Especially since I only saw Year One Batman once when I couldn't get him and haven't seen him since. Even though he is on the Hush body, which I think is to tall, the tiny adjustments made made me like him a lot now.
My local Walmart brought out the entire pallet for me. I was only after Hawkgirl Platinum. 🤣
I saw SUPERMAN MOVIE Metamorpho, Mr. Terrific & Robot at Gamestop.
@kryptonian No. I have only seen the platinum Eradicator at Target and is not really moving in my area.
I finally saw the endcap at Walmart that I've heard people talk about. I got Hawkgirl & Red Lantern Guy Gardner. I picked up some other figures at Target as well. I still can't find the Spin Masters Metamorpho & Hawkgirl.
@kryptonian I picked up an Eradicator if you are interested. There were 7 at Target on the bottom shelf of the Superman movie endcap display.
@tenzilkem that's wild there are 7 just sitting there & absolutely none out here. Appreciate you having one available. I don't want to trouble you having to pack it & ship it out. Thank you, though. 👍 I'm still confident I should be able to find one out here.
