@grumpymatt Gamestop appears to have sold out on Cyborg Superman & didn't have much to send out to stores except to fulfill pre-orders. Alternative opportunity is at Walmart & maybe Target near the end of the month.
That was a good call. Checked a Walmart near my parents' house on Sunday night and found Cyborg Superman. Saw a lot of the stuff tenzilkem just listed but was locked on Supes. Happy to not have to worry about finding him anymore.
He's a great figure, I haven't looked at any reviews so I wasn't expecting the pointing hand but it looks good on him.
collector edition kiteman reveal on the mcfarlane toy show on youtube.
he will be a target exclusive as part of the summer geek out this summer
Edit:
more reveals:
collectors edition Dark archer
collectors edition Darkstars
dc rebirth batmobile
rebirth batman with cloth cape (no image)
Merlyn and Darkstar both look awesome and I am likely to want both of them.
I will say this. Todd is on track to sell me more figures this year than his previous four years combined. That is impressive.
Kiteman is also kind of great. Not something I will buy - but I really like the execution.
I will buy (or at least attempt to buy) all four of those. Kite-Man is a huge want for me. Dark Archer / Merlyn is a buy. I could see myself buying multiple Darkstars. I know that I'll buy the Rebirth Batmobile. Now it's all about how available they all are.... I want to give Todd my money for Jade and James Gordon but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Sometimes I don't think Todd wants our money, because he sure leaves a lot of it on the table.
Pre-orders for popular figures selling through in less than a minute.
Much wanted characters (like The Question and Sportsmaster, etc.) and/or much wanted looks for characters (like classic Hawkman and Hawkgirl, etc.) available only as near impossible to find "Platinum" releases.
Popular never before released characters available only as hard-to-find store exclusives.
And other such brilliant selling strategies leads to a lot of lost sales that he otherwise would have had.
Kiteman and the Rebirth mobile for sure. Mcfarlane keeps the bar high. No way we see the likes of Kiteman and clock king from Mattel.

People keep saying this like I don't have Mattel figures of Killer Moth, Reaper, Negative Man, B'wana Beast, Steppenwolf, Tyr and the Metal Men on my shelf.
Just because Todd got around to some figures Mattel didn't get to doesn't mean 'Mattel could never'. Did Todd give us Hawk and Dove? How many Legionnaires has Todd delivered?
It's almost like a line can only produce so many characters and neither company had the chance to do everyone...
Also, Kite Man has a streaming show. There's literally never been a more likely time for a Kite Man figure.
I just don't get the choices made sometimes. I can easily if I would like put a pre-order for Eradicator, which from what I can see is just a straight up repaint of a previous figure. But then Cyborg Superman has new parts and is radically different from the previous release and yet seems to be being released in smaller numbers (I'm in the UK) and the few times he's been listed has sold out in minutes. I'd probably get Eradicator if I could get Cyborg Superman, as it would be nice to have a Reign of the Supermen set, but otherwise no thanks.
What's the thinking? Why give limited releases to figures that (a) look nicer and (b) have required new tooling?
I'm going to miss the line when it goes, but its like they want the line to not be as succesful as it could be.

Hey man, I loved DCUC. P***ed all over the McF multiverse figures for me and I will never part with them. That collection is my pride and joy - nothing has replaced it since. Todd's figures-I am super picky. DCUC I was all in. Supporting all releases from properties that I knew nothing about-because the line was fun to collect. I just cannot see Mattel taking the DCUC route a second time. Hopefully I am proved wrong and we see a second coming a la Marvel Legends. My fear is umpteen movie Supermen and Batmen peg warmers and a loss of corporate interest in quick order.

Your concerns are fair and legitimate - it will be interesting to see what they do.
It's hard to gauge using Masters of the Universe because the properties are very different - and in the Masterverse line they do keep returning to new/different designs for the heavy hitters whereas with Origins they are tossing in never before seen characters, figures of characters from old animation, just almost anything goes... I suspect that with DC they will start a little conservative - heavy hitters, major names - but if the line does well or gains traction they may not be afraid to reach wider.
Really that's basically the same path Todd took. The first waves just felt (to me, anyway) like endless iterations of the same characters in different outfits with a few new guys here and there - but even those almost always tied directly to Batman. Now in the last 12 to 15 months the character selection door got kicked down and Todd is just shotgun spraying figures from everywhere. Honestly if this had been the line at the outset I would have been way more on board. Though the heads are still tiny and relative scale issues still bug me.

The McFarlane RunFair EQL is live for Cap Cold, Guy Gardner and Power Girl platinums.
With the exception of Power Girl, these were pretty easy to get at retail I thought. I have multiple Cap Colds and Guys that I've been trying to sell on ebay with no luck.
went to target after work yesterday and found the red plat forever riddler as well as BvS alfred. to my surprise i also found two BvS plats, they had the false god supes and the armor batman with spear. got all of them and every happy to find them.
pass by walmart to continue my hunt for gordon and found two red plat jades.
oddly enough went to another walmart and another 2 jades.
DC Direct / DC Collectibles, Mattel and McFarlane have all given us unique characters that the others lines haven't. I think that's great because I live for the obscure characters. I have figures from all 3 companies that I love that the other 2 companies likely never even considered.
I think having multiple companies offering figures from any universe is a great thing for the consumer. Allowing only one master licenses stifles competition and creativity, but can make it more profitable for the company holding the license.
With that being said, if only one company can make DC figures then I'd much rather it be Mattel than McFarlane (and it's not at all close).

I still haven't seen either Gordon or Jade and it's pissing me off.
