So whats the story behind Cyborg Supes? how did he get that way, not a comic reader.

DC Comics ripoff version of the Fantastic Four story, team goes into space, gets affected by solar flares Superman caused when he dropped The Eradicator into the sun. Team ends up back on Earth and they start showing signs of powers, Henshaw's wife doesn't just go invisible she fades into another dimension. Henshaw blames Superman for his wife's death and goes on a campaign to slander him (think Two-Face dressed as Batman or Hugo Strange doing it too). His body dies from the radiation but his consciousness bonds with Superman's original infant-carrying ship technology and LexCorp computers. He sends himself into deep space and comes back as a Cyborg impersonating Superman after he had been killed fighting Doomsday.
What did you say? I can't READ YOU!
JK - that sucks, Ninjak. Some websites have instituted ad shit like that and I just have to refresh the page to make it go away - or just stop reading that site. It's amazing to me that with all of our technological advances, we can't get stuff like that to work - or to not see the same three ads over and over and over on streaming shows.
ANYWAY - bummer if no follow-up Batman & Robin figures is true. I don't want the ice suits, but I do want another Ivy and Bane. Maybe the two-pack I keep manifesting into existence! 🙂 At this point, Bane and Nicholson Joker will be the only ones not on the shelf.
Also, no sympathy for those who passed on B&R the first time - it was pretty clear that those figures were starting something. Also, they're good figures on their own - I wish Freeze had gotten his own trading card included with one of the figures so all five original posters were represented. So if people skipped that's on them. It's like people who didn't buy the first Jim Lee Rogue - "how was I supposed to know they'd make the rest of the team?!" Ummmm... use your brain?
I'm not sure I see the logic in this, you yourself seem very convinced that Nicholson Joker is not happening, so why should everyone else have suspected that we'd even be getting the Burton figures at the time the Batman & Robin wave was announced? Other than Schumacher super fans, I think most people passed without even the guarantee of Batman Forever coming- hence why going in the correct order of the movies might've gotten a few more people to pick up the latter sequel waves too to have all the villains, imo. I was able to get an Ivy for myself but I hope everyone else gets a chance at a re-release in one of her alternate suits. Why so nasty about anyone who missed out on it? As they say, the only thing worse than a sore loser is an abysmal winner.
Anyway I do still think Nicholson will be coming somehow next year before Todd loses the license, it would be too much of a letdown to not do it now and people are kind of expecting a 1989 wave at this point. Hopefully Batman Returns pre-orders will drop soon, I'm tired of having to reload their twitter every day just to see if I need to wake up early or skip work the next given day before they sell out. If there's some delay due to the tariffs then the McF team should be upfront about it; this beating around the bush is not helping anyone.
Anyone find a Hawkgirl at your local Gamestop? Went to 2, none for me. Apparently the Collector Editions at Gamestop now sells for $36.99.
I've seen the Super Friends figures at Target starting last week. I saw some today in the Collector's section of Walmart. Only saw Regular Batman, Green Lantern & Riddler. I'm still looking for Red Platinum Batman.

Dam, thats a werid story LOL

So people whining about how they missed out are just fine, but me pointing out they made that choice themselves makes me "nasty" and "an abysmal winner"?
Okay dude.
I stopped at 1 Best Buy, 3 Gamestops, 3 Targets, 3 Walmarts and 3 comic book stores today hoping to find any of SA Bizarro, Hawkgirl, Jade or Jim Gordon and came up empty everywhere. The figures that I saw multiples of everywhere were Adam Strange, Deadshot and Year One Batman.
@stephenwdavis damn, same here. Went to 3 Gamestops, no Hawkgirl. Did see a single random Christopher Reeve Collector Edition.
Custom Batman begins. No dumb stippling on collar or shoulders, proper cape. Waiting on head

It’s not that bad. It’s very clearly an FF homage, and just shows what might have happened if things had went horribly wrong.
Anyone seeing Cyborg Supermen on Gamestop shelves? Checked a couple this weekend but no luck. Same with Jade.
I too am starting to see a lot of Deadshot, both versions, and Adam Strange, just the regular edition.
@grumpymatt Gamestop appears to have sold out on Cyborg Superman & didn't have much to send out to stores except to fulfill pre-orders. Alternative opportunity is at Walmart & maybe Target near the end of the month.
