There are no PMs on the new forum software integrated into the actual site, so suggesting contact through something like IG or Twitter (I refuse to call it by the stupid new name) is a good idea,
Between Hasbro and McFarlane, I’m getting kind of tired of the “We know you want the classic version, but you can’t have it, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah” routine.
Make the classic/iconic version first, then have at it with all the variant looks you want. We’re not going to pass on the cool variants just because we have the classic/iconic version. We’re crackheads. We want it all, but let’s build a foundation first.
At least with Hasbro, they'll release the less desired version of a character first and then later on release the more classic or more sought-after version as a separate release, and more often than not as a regular retail release. McFarlane is diving more and more into releasing them simultaneously as variants of each other, and you've either got to pay extra to a reseller or hope you win the lottery to get the version you want. Hasbro's way isn't perfect, but it's a much better option imho.
It's getting easier and easier to say no to this line, and I really hope McFarlane loses the licensing asap.

I don't want him to lose the license, just to knock off making so many releases hard to get and artificially scarce. The first few years the line was fun to collect, particularly because it was easy to collect. Now there are so many desirable figures that are variants and/or platinum chases that are store exclusives that I effectively have to pay secondary market prices for 80% of the most wanted figures. Man, I just want to be able to click a few buttons on Amazon or Target's app at my leisure and have the figures come.
Is there a chase of Black Lightning? Man, those extra sculpting details are killing me. Wish they would've used a better figure base.
I saw FA Superman and Alan Scott at Target today, both look very good, but at $30 I just can't. If these were in a regular box without a baseball card stand for $20 I'd be all over them.
I'm afraid I'm cooling way off on Todd's stuff. At $20 I can forgive a lot. At $25, sure, because there's a BAF and still usually an all-new sculpt. But $30, nah, I'm just not seeing where the money is going.
Platinum green lantern sinestro
I figured they would change the chest logo on Sinestro to the Green Lantern symbol instead of keeping the Sinestro Corps logo. Lazy.
McFarlane can take his Run Fair BS and shove it sideways up his backside.
I don't collect his comic figures anymore just the movie. He don't seem to screw them up as much as comic.
Platinum Brainiac. I've seen some folks suggest it was meant to be a Superman TAS homage but, if so, it needed the teal skin.
Chase figures weren't fun back when Toy Biz did them and they're not fun now.
When McFarlane puts in the effort, they can make some impressive stuff. But they're barely putting in the effort these days. It seems to be quantity over quality at this point.

Now that we've gotten the 45th Batman it's the right time for McFarlane to diversify the line, which is happening. And who should take over and start from scratch? DC Essentials was pretty cheap (1 body, countless repaints, no accessories). And please, not Mattel.
If you want higher end, look for Mezco or Mafex.

45 Batmen? Where did you get such a low number?
I'm seeing the diversity which is good, but I'm also seeing it come in the form of $30 "collector's edition" figures with some foil on the box and a baseball card stand. That seems like one step forward, two steps back.
Hey if anyone was wanting Black Lightning or Supergirl, Nerdzoic has them both in stock right now.
