Wow! I just got a totally unexpected surprise delivery. The Page Punchers Damian Wayne Robin that I pre-ordered on Amazon way back on October 8th of last year just showed up at my door.

I ordered it so long ago that it wasn't even appearing in my "Orders" list anymore. I honestly thought it had been cancelled a while back. Talk about random.

Funny thing is I already have one that I've had for so long I can't even recall where I got it from. But it's a really nice figure and I'm glad to have an extra one.

And once again Milestone action figures are a letdown. As a Milestone supporter from the start back in the early 90's, all I've wanted was 1:12 figures to scale with my Marvel Legends and DCUC, but apparently that remains too much to ask smh.

JLU gave us old man Static, DC Icons Static was really nice but undersized and shorted of his original included accessories, and now that McF as the license we got Static in a terrible unwanted costume and now Icon in this modern, uninspired look. I've yet to buy any DC Multiverse figures because I'm not about to start collecting another scale and I kinda hate the rubber diapers that will no doubt discolor and crack over time. Sigh

Milestone, I'll always have love for you but will always regret what could have been 😪

I just called out Amazon. Amazon itself is selling SHAZAM for $49.99! I got in touch with customer service and asked them when did Amazon itself become a scalper. They asked what do you mean. I then started to explain and point out the listing for SHAZAM. The person on the other end said they would bring this up. I said I'm pretty sure you will, thank you for your time you have been very helpful.

I think all I'm going after on the 29th is Tempest.  Walter West Dark Flash doesn't interest me too much.  it looks like a cool figure, but I don't really need an alternate Universe Wally.  Then Icon, I just don't know that well as a character.  I know his origin/back story, but I never really read any books with him in it.

I may change my mind though.  The figure of Icon does look cool.

I know even less about Milestone than I do Transformers.  Yet I always see a kid in a baseball cap involved in Milestone stuff.  Who's the baseball cap character or is Static Shock just wearing a baseball cap and I'm confusing the two?

Static was the flagship Milestone character, portrayed as a science and pop culture loving nerdy but not terribly outcast high schooler who gains electromagnetic powers acidently. His original book, and arguably the whole original Milestone lineup was very well done. Comic Static generally wore a baseball cap and oversized coat whereas he was portrayed in his cartoon, 'Static Shock', rocking short dreads and a couple different costumes. Highly recommend finding back issues or a TPB for some of the best storytelling of the 90's. RIP Dwayne Mcduffie

Saw YouTube reviews for Power Girl. She’s as tall as Steel. I don’t own Steel so it’s hard for me judge. But the reviewer lined her up with a few other figures including a couple of Superman figures and she does seem really tall despite the fact she is wearing heels. Not sure how I feel about this figure now……

Later in the same review you can see her towering over the crisis Superman body, which is (was) the tallest mold so far in the line. This is McFarlane, though. So when a figure should be a slam dunk 10 out of 10, there will be an obvious and easily correctable flaw present that brings it a notch down.

I started to get some FOMO on skipping these pre orders but stuff like this makes me happy I’m down to just buying movie figures.

For some reason that new Flash costume is really appealing to me.   I just like the look and colors so that figure is tempting.

I want to like Tempest as this is the first figure of the character I remember being made in a long, long time -  but I hate the face they went with.  The smirking half smile with the hair half covering one eye... it's not for me.   This isn't the Garth I'm looking for.

Icon is probably one I won't be able to pass on.   It isn't the costume I'd prefer,  but as long as the sculpt isn't complete garbage the way Static was, I don't see how I can't own it.

And it hurts me deep in my soul to see people refer to Virgil Hawkins as Static Shock... like I get that was the name of the cartoon but even in the cartoon that wasn't the character's name, man.

And -  dammit.   Why,  why is Power Girl going to be the tallest figure in the collection.   Todd is the king of the own goal on these things man.

Ugh, that diaper on Catwoman, a character known for being sleek. Hoping that character in particular gets revisited very soon.

Power Girl's height is baffling. All-new sculpt, all now wasted.
