BBTS has the platinum Simon and Grid available right now too, but I was too late to get the Mr. Terrific which was the one I still wanted. I already have the Plat Simon and Reeve Superman from the EQL. The Plat Reeve Supes was the only one that I want, I have no interest in the standard version.

I'm waiting on the Flashpoint Thomas Wayne / Prof Zoom 2-pack to pull the trigger on my own PoL. I've got Skelcon, regular Simon, regular Mr. Terrific and Silver Age Bats w/ Ace sitting in there right now already after just having a lot of 35 items shipped last week (including the Mezco 1:12 Ultimate Godzilla that they had for 25% off). I think that it's safe to say that the Diamond figures aren't coming out this month.

I have 2 Plat Mr. Terrific, if you can find a regular Noel Batman we can do a trade.

A dumb question to be asking after I hit ship, but BBTS is reliable with separating out platinum versus normals, yeah? One of the figure I picked up was Silver Age Batman and Ace and I figured they were the one place I thought didn't have you rolling the dice for which one you get. I kept my foot on the break ordering him elsewhere cos I didn't want the repaint.

Apropos of nothing, this week I figured out the simpler the figure, the more I like them from this line. Picked up Lightning lad and while I wish he had about 75% more movement on his head/neck, he's a lot of fun to pose. Between him and Wildcat I'm more into Multiverse than I have been in a while cos I like the simplicity of them. (If Hawkman either had more wing movement or the wings were lighter to help with balance he'd be on my fun list too cos his joints and ROM are surprisingly nice.

Oh, forgot to mention, received from McFarlane, King Kong vs Batman and in a set, Agent Liberty and the Platinum. I wasn't going to pass that set up at $30. Gamestop, received my second regular Superman movie, Reeve Superman and the box set with Flashpoint Batman and Reverse Flash. Gamestop finally shipped the JL Task Force Batman, Superman and Flash with the box set movie Superman and Doomsday.

Betting I did not win the Gamestop sweepstakes with Reeves Superman. They're shipping separately. :/ Ah, well, at least I got free shipping.

@grumpymatt Yeah. I bought him bc I'm a Kirby freak but he's pretty frustrating. Should be on a thick Superman type body. The rabbit ear "wings" on the head are references from 1 weird version of his helmet ignoring how the helmet was drawn by you know such comic book blips on the map like Kirby, Byrne, Simonson, etc.

I received Superman/Doomsday today and two out of three of the Platinum's for the JL Task Force being Batman, Flash and once again, no Platinum Superman.

Disregard, I called the Gamestop I visit on base and they have the regular Noel Batman in stock and holding it for me until Monday.

I did my normal weekly run to all of my local Best Buy, Gamestop, Target and Walmart today. Still no sign of Geo-Force at my Target but they had a couple of Orion left but already sold out of Wildcat. They still have a ton of that PP Ghost of Zod wave. Still no Lightning Lad at my Walmart. Still a crap ton of the Gold Label Green Lantern, the new modern Red Hood a bunch of old Flash Page Punchers there. Nothing new there or at my Best Buy or Gamestop.

Beyond both Geo-Forces and a platinum Lightning Lad I'm still hoping to find the PP Shazam and Captain Thunder platinum and a platinum Mr. Terrific. I believe that I saw PP Shazam is supposed to ship this week from Amazon. I'm hoping that the one I get from that order ends up being Captain Thunder.

I received the Batman & Robin Batmobile from Amazon this week but haven't opened it yet.

I got my silver age Batman today. Just the regular version, I didn't go after the platinum variant. Mostly because for the life of me I can't fathom why Todd wouldn't just make the a variant based on the main Silver Age Batman costume by artist Carmine Infantino which would only require a new belt, shorter cape and a new bat symbol. Why make a variant that requires 200% more work?

’cuz he’s gonna release that Infantino Batman on its own, and with its own Platinum variant. I virtually guarantee it. Totally his MO.

Found Orion and Catman at Target today. I like both characters a lot. I’ve been getting a lot of the Superman characters in this line, so I was particularly keen on getting Orion, but that head sculpt and dull colors made me put him back, which is a shame.

I had to pass on him for most of the reasons you mentioned. My two favorite DCUC displays are the Kirby New Gds and the JSA. Painful to pass on them both but they just don’t look right to me. They both could have used the Speeding Bullets mold.

@aceofknaves I guess I can't fault him for that. Also I guess chances are high that we might see further variations of this silver age batman in whacky colors in 2-packs, box sets and any other excuse to promote the glorious age that was the 1950's-1969 as Todd frequently delivers?

Geez can you believe this is the same guy who challanged Marvel in the  90's for sticking with a house style that had become too dated and needed a new status quo, and then subsequently left marvel to go make Spawn because he was tired of mainstream comics? Remember that Todd McFarlane? That same guy pushed his own brand off a cliff to make 60's batman merch.

To be fair, there's 30 years difference between those 2 Todds.

So looks like Guy, PeeGee and Snart go up on the 23rd. Exciting, they all look great.

But I really want that Fleischer Superman. He’s just gorgeous.
