I got mine last week. It makes the car look exactly like it should which......should have been the goal from the manufacturer. But you're right, $30 later the thing is just about perfect.
I don't know if I should just give up on two seater Batmobiles. I mean, no one displays these with the canopies open anyway whether there's a figure in there or not. Let's just pretend there's two seats in all of these.
I'm content to call it done. The 2 seater thing isn't that much of a big deal to me as I don't remember whoever rode shotgun in the Batmobile during the Keaton films besides maybe Kim Bassinger? By the time Robin comes along, this (my favorite) Batmobile is long gone. I'd considered painting the instrument cluster on the cockpit when I had the vehicle open for the canopy upgrade, but said the heck with it. In a week I'll be focused on some other new toy coming down the pike, and I only care how this thing looks from the outside, so for all intents and purposes I'm done with the line unless we're given a Batman Returns line, and a Nicholson-likeness Joker.

So... I finally got around to opening that Orion I picked up previously, and I have to say... why is his head SO tiny? The figure is more or less OK - a little scrawny, but not terrible but his head is just so small. It's like the sculpter was looking at forced perspective art with the character leaning backwards or something. The head is smaller than the Orion head from DCUC... sigh.
Yeah, that Orion head quickly killed any excitement I had when I found him in Target a few days ago. A deal-killer for me.
In other MacFarlane news, I jumped on a preorder for the standard Reeve Superman yesterday at BBTS and received word this morning that it was in my pile of loot.
Of course I had the other items that had been in my POL sent out this past Monday ...
Reeve Superman hit my POL and as of 10 seconds ago they had the platinum for $40. I think I'm passing on the plat.....might get it if I see it in the wild. Don't want it enough to pay over retail.
Now I have Shazam and Reeve sitting in my POL, once 97 Gambit shows up I can pull the trigger.
BBTS has the platinum Simon and Grid available right now too, but I was too late to get the Mr. Terrific which was the one I still wanted. I already have the Plat Simon and Reeve Superman from the EQL. The Plat Reeve Supes was the only one that I want, I have no interest in the standard version.
I'm waiting on the Flashpoint Thomas Wayne / Prof Zoom 2-pack to pull the trigger on my own PoL. I've got Skelcon, regular Simon, regular Mr. Terrific and Silver Age Bats w/ Ace sitting in there right now already after just having a lot of 35 items shipped last week (including the Mezco 1:12 Ultimate Godzilla that they had for 25% off). I think that it's safe to say that the Diamond figures aren't coming out this month.

Of course ALSO I shipped my POL ten days ago, had a bunch of stuff arrive the next day, waited a week and shipped THOSE, then had some stuff arrive early a day after that, added some SUPER on sale McFarlane figures I hadn't wanted to pay full price for but happily gave a shot at for ten bucks each, shipped THOSE...
I mean in all it's better than Amazon or Pulse who ship every single thing in a single wasteful box but I wonder if anyone looked at my account and was like "have more patience, padawan..."
Platinum Reeve Superman with the alt-heat vision head on is absolutely hilarious fun. He looks like an over-the-top grimdark Snyder version of Reeve and it’s frigging comedy gold. I keep making him beat on Batfleck.

If you were looking for Reeve and not caring if it wasn't BBTS, Gamestop still has him up on their site. And I can speak from experience that if you order 2, there's a good chance they'll hook you up with the Platinum as well.
As for BBTS, I've had that exact scenario happen lol I swear, once your PoL hits a certain number of items they just hold stuff back, pretending it hasn't arrived, waiting and hoping that you play the fool and ship it out so that they can save a little cash on their end 🤣 I mean, probably not, but still funny to think about.
Went in a local Game Stop today and was excited to see figures from the new Page Punchers Wave, and I was hopeful they'd have SHAZAM. But no. They did however have the Silver Age Batman with Ace the Bat Hound. So, I picked that up and it is an excellent figure.
Even the clerk when I checked out was like "Man, that is such a cool looking set." She was talking about how she has really felt the McFarlane Multiverse line has really let out some great looking figures in the last year, and she's always looking at them and has even picked a couple up.
@therealsmallville I usually like to give BBTS my business but I literally shipped with them three times in ten days because I'm a doofus, so thanks for the tip on Gamestop. If I order from BBTS one more time in January I'm going to need an intervention. And by intervention I mean my GF is going to be like WHAT are you DOING
(EDIT: You sold me on giving Gamestop a shot with buying two. They had a Grayson figure I've been meaning to pick up, too, so I added for free shipping. If they send me a duplicate Reeves I've got a friend who would really appreciate one as a thank you for some work he did for me so if I end up with two normal ones, the other will have a good home.)
LOL... I've had two boxes arrive from BBTS in the last 10 days and my Pile of Loot already has 12 items sitting in it. Why does everything show up at once? Good grief.
I received my case from EE with Spawn Batman in the case. The case has as well regular Silver Age Batman and Platinum which is the Batman Zur-En-Arrh, the Neo Gothic Batman Beyond and Platinum and last, Platinum Noel Batman.
