I got my interrogation room Joker in yesterday. And I feel a little ripped off, honestly.

A table and 2 chairs is NOT worth an extra $20.   I can't include the room backdrop as an added feature considering it's just the box lining  made out of flimsy cardboard.

If they wanted a "deluxe" set up like that, the walls and floor should have been plastic.

100%, I felt the same way when mine arrived last Friday from MTS. You can't even carefully maneuver the cardboard as a makeshift backdrop because the accessories are blistered to it. Very poorly thought out, I thought we were actually getting an art board that would sit behind Joker.

I can always use an in-scale table and chairs, but the set itself was a disappointment. I might just hold on to it and sell it down the line when it jumps in price a little.

I also just got in the Superman vs Atomic Skull 2pk, and noticed that you can't see the figures in the box (I guess they also did this with the Batman/Batwoman/Clayface 3pk?). I know we're thinking of the environment (and everyone should - full stop), and I'm assuming that's what is leading the charge for not seeing inside these larger boxes, but we are still talking about plastic toys with paint applications that are often poorly done and I cannot stand not being able to see what's in there before opening it up. I'm not an in-box collector, but I am definitely a "paint-needs-to-be-good" collector, so this is just dumb packaging to me. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Megafigs still have large plastic windows, I don't know why these are different. Is it just an amazon thing? The Joker interrogation set has a giant plastic window.

I do believe it's because these are at Amazon, and they have no shoppers to advertise to. You would never be able to be at a store and look at 5 of these and decide which one has the best paint job. That's my assumption, no shoppers to impress.

I dont think action figure blisters attribute much to pollution globally tbh. I dont mind cardboard boxes though. Most of my vintage Big Jim vehicles are boxed in cardboard and look pretty good still 40 years later.

Regarding paint jobs, Amazon is pretty generous with returns from my experience. If a figure is not right just send it back.

Got shipping notice for my Jokerized Scarecrow. I'm definitely in the minority, but I'm actually pretty excited! The Crowllection grows ever larger.

Received Firestorm, Sinestro and Hawkman from MTS today. They're all good figures- was mostly looking forward to Firestorm. I'm happy to have a classic Ronnie Firestorm, just wish the yellows were brighter. Just a nitpick.

Hawkman is probably my second favorite of the trio despite being a stand-in until we get a classic version. I do wish his wings could go all the way back (they are pegged too close to "fold" perpendicular to his body) and that he had a flight stand included.

I will forever lament the decision to include foil stamped cards and card holders instead of more figure accessories. Firestorm had a lot of hands, but an alternate head would have been nice as well.  I would have appreciated extra hands for Hawkman and Sinestro as well.

Did Todd decide to skip Toy Fair? I haven’t seen anything yet.

Or am I just being impatient?

I haven't seen anything from Toy Fair from anyone aside from press releases that mention licensing.

Premium DNA is apparently going to be doing straight GPK and Mars Attacks toys and Diamond has the Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon license. That's the only toy news I'm aware of so far.

I know a lot of bigger companies won't be attending.

I'm guessing Spinmasters, and Playmates will be there. Not sure about Hasbro. Mattel is skipping it.

according to the official toy fair website, it starts this weekend 9/30 to 10/03. You’re not wrong about not many toy companies not announcing anything for this event. Maybe they’ll announce something tomorrow as a preview or maybe not… who knows.

I don't care about Santa Batmen or Jokerized nonsense. I want to see whatever that "Classic Superman" is supposed to be.

I got a shipping notice from MTS for Firestorm/Sinestro/Hawkman 3 days ago, but when I check the tracking it still just says "label created awaiting pick-up" or some such bulls*t. WTF? So basically my package has been sitting there for 3 days with a label on it and still hasn't actually shipped.

Very frustrating to pre-order something on day one, within minutes of it going live, then paying quite a lot for shipping, then waiting weeks for it to finally start hitting, then see other people getting there's delivered when yours still hasn't even shipped yet, then finally finally getting a shipping notice yourself, only to have your package sit in the warehouse for several days awaiting pick-up by the carrier. Brilliant! 🤬

I got a shipping notice 2 days ago and same, no update on tracking! 🤔

I emailed them & they replied to wait another 2-3 days for the tracking to update. If I don't see an update by Monday to contact them again.

I ordered the BatSantas today and have a shipping notice already. I won’t hold my breath, though.

Agreed on pretty much all points. I really, really love the sculpt for Hawkman but I can't help but be disappointed with him functionally. Thought the same thing about the lack of flight stand when opening the box. If anyone deserves a flight stand, it's the guy with feathered wings jutting out his back.

The wings have no movement and are very heavy, so standing him in a way that looks good is a chore. Can't wait to try out the Batman Sky Tyrant wings on him but I'll need to get that figure out of storage.

Those 3 figures are some of McFarlane's best and yet I'm still irked at the $30 cost. They look great on the shelf though. Would be 10/10 satisfied if they were $5 cheaper.
