Lost the EQL drawing for each of these, but was really hoping to win for Evil Superman. Not a platinum member. That updates my winnings to 1 win and all the rest losses since the very start, and I enter every drawing except for one time.

Not complaining, just providing data for anyone interested.

I didn’t enter for the recent EQLs since I found Platinum Grid and Christopher Reeves in Walmart but I’m 2-2 overall in EQL.

Lost on Bruce Wayne and Ace and Platinum Red Hood

Won Platinum B&W Alfred and Platinum Page Punchers Deathstroke

I’m not a Platinum member

Saw that Ambush Bug is down to $12.74 at Amazon.   That was one of the ones I was most excited about this year, so it's kind of sad to see that the general figure buying population doesn't care about it at all - "hey, this isn't Batman!"

That'll teach me to wait on those more minor "not-Batman" characters I guess.

Also not a plat member. Initially entered for Evil Superman, but found him at Gamestop so canceled my entry. Still 0-5. Able to find wanted plats except for that black suit Joker, but got him on feebay anyways for just marginally over retail. 💪

Found the platinum Spawn Crossover Batman. Sucks. Besides being on the three jokers body, the cape on it is very heavy and thick.

Also found the Noel Batman, but didn’t buy since I already have the Page Punchers version. I find it odd that people only are praising whats almost the same figure I got two years ago. Not that it isn’t a great figure, just that  it’s been a great figure (available at a discount) for a while now.

I can only speak for myself but I had the page punchers one as I love Bermejo's art but I had trouble getting past the green hue of the suit and sold it off. The new one has a neutral face which I prefer if given only one option and is grey in color. On a different note I found Commander Steel for $7.00 on clearance at Target so he was an instant buy!

Many, many moons ago, I bought that Page Punchers Noel Batman from Amazon. One of the few packages that was never delivered or stolen. Never re-bought him. The blue Platinum certainly looks a lot better. The bulky armored look reminds me of the Arkham Origins suit. I like him next to Tim Drake Robin.

I entered the EQL drawings for Superman, Mr. Terrific & Green Lantern. I won the drawing for Green Lantern. I am not a platinum member but I did buy all of the regular figures from MTS.

I stopped at a few Targets this past week since I was off from work. I saw a lot of Collector's Edition Sgt. Rock, Manga Batman, Conner Kent, Clock King, Red Hood & Ragman. It's like they got a fresh supply. There were even a few platinum figures.

I stopped at a couple of Best Buys and they all had regular Collector's Edition Green Lantern, Huntress & DKR Batman.

All of the Walmarts in my area are full of old figures like Page Punchers Constantine, Dr. Fate, Supergirl, Flash, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Caveman Robin & the Krypton series. I know I saw some older DC Multiverse figures as well, but I can't remember what they were. I know some I had only seen at Target before.

I have only ever really wanted two platinum figures -  the Green Lantern Corps figure with Arkiss and Green Man heads and Shining Knight.    I entered the EQL drawing for both and came up short both times.    Still haven't found those figures in a store either, so probably going to have to resort to Ebay... and pay double - for GL at least.  Shining Knight looks like she can be had for about $35 shipped.

I managed to grab both editions of the Reeve Superman but I think the normal release is superior. I'm not really a fan of the Platinum version. I could have left this one sitting on the pegs but I felt like I needed both in the moment. Still there is almost too much added detail to this one that it almost make this figure feel like a custom. I like the cleanness of the classic version.

I just don't have a huge fondness for Superman's III or IV and I don't feel I need anything from those two films.  If I happen upon a platinum I may get it or I may not.

@bananaman Yup, really hoping Todd pulls out all the stops for this one, but of course tempering expectations.

If he really wanted to go full 'deluxe' mode (think Y2Bat or the recent Breyfogle version):

  • New buck- yes, KF would work, but Y1 Bats was drawn a little beefier (I know I'm dreaming, he'll just use KF or 3J for the umpteenth time)
  • Wired cloth cape, and a plastic cape to capture the iconic half-drape pose from the promo art @ the time (DCD made a statue of this pose, if folks need a reference)
  • Lots of alternate hands and various size batarangs (he uses the tiny and full size ones in the series)
  • Lastly, if he included a base, he could do some kind of a smoke effect to replicate the scene where he disrupts the Falcone party

Again, I know I'm dreaming here.  I'm sure what we'll get will probably be another KF repaint with a new head sculpt and a wired cape, but if there was ever a time for Todd to really go all out...

I'm the oddball here as I was only ever interested in the Platinum version of Reeves Supes and have chosen to pass on the regular versions.

I did find the red/orange Swamp Thing of Rann at Gamestop last night and went ahead and picked it up.
