Dang it! CMDstore.com already had the Platinums for Grid, Lightning Lad, Mr. Terrific and Simon Baz and already sold out. I hate McFarlane so much for making it impossible to buy anything that I actually want. It's such a pain in the ass and ridiculous to have pay double retail price on ebay to get a figure.
@ninjak I’m not a fan of soft goods capes either. As Robo would say, they’re too “fidgety”. I can never seem to get them to fold right for static poses or storage. I have OCD with those things.
I’m definitely picking up that Batman….if I see it.
Not really a fan of soft good capes either. They rarely appear like actual cloth at that scale and the McFarlane ones are basically as stiff as any plastic cape.
I've also found soft goods to be absolute dust magnets if you don't have an enclosed display. I hate them.
@ninjak IIRC, you’re in Florida too right? I haven’t seen Geo-Force up here in NE Florida either, and my daughter has been hunting for me in Orlando with no luck. I don’t know what’s taking so long for them to get down here.

The new "reveals" look good, I'm particularly interested in Power Girl. I wonder if the Platinum will be her New 52 outfit or just a cape and head swap.
I was interested in the "Fleischer" Superman, and I will still pick him up to use as a custom (first appearance Tyler Hoechlin Superman, probably). I lost interest in it as a Fleischer version as soon as they showed him and the box, though...they clearly couldn't get the license rights to "Fleischer Studios" (does Paramount still technically own them?), so the box says "classic animation" on it. There is no still from the cartoon on the back, the figure's head sculpt and belt are wrong, and the cape is much too long. It's still a cool figure, and it's close enough to Fleischer I suppose, but as a matter-of-fact it is not. So that's a bit disappointing. I'm sure every person who buys it or reviews it on youtube will call it "Fleischer", so in a way I'll be the one who's wrong about it lol
The Batman Begins figure is a definite preorder, too. I was hoping the single carded Batman '89 would come with a fixed head/neck, as in 1 piece that doesn't really move, but alas. Having a head sit on top of the neck like that with articulation makes him look like he's wearing a helmet, and it throws off the whole look. I think the Keaton likeness is there, even if far from perfect, but your eyes can't see past the bobble head to get to it.
I got the Joker/Punchline 2pk, Knightfall Nightwing, and battle damaged Dark Knight Returns last weekend for my birthday, so I'm hoping to crack those open this weekend. The lamp post with that Batman will 100% be going in with my Mafex TDKR figures, that's going to be an almost perfect size for armored Batman and Superman to square off under.

I have him on preorder at BBTS, but I'll be hitting up some Targets tomorrow and I hope I find the platinum. He's just about the right shade to pop on a Brandon Routh head sculpt, even though the S shield would be wrong. It looks like a decent start for a custom, though.
Absolutely the truth. I found the Brown version in Fremont CA, could hardly believe my luck. Just went back to the car and check the trunk incase I had imagined the purchase 😂I think the difference with Geo-Force is that he's exclusive in the Collector section, which is a different team at Target and probably orders different quantities. Which is frustrating.
@bananaman is the brown version hard to find or more desired or something? I’ve seen at least three at Target near me.
I’m not personally interested in the character, on account of Geo-Force being a mort and a Geoff Johns character, but the figure looked alright in person.
@supreme_d No, just the opposite. The green is the rare Platinum chase figure and is the version that's never been made before. The brown had been done by DC Direct / DC Collectibles several years ago. It's just that Geo-Force is a Target exclusive only and not available online at all and has been difficult to find across the country for either version, so far at least. Hopefully that will start to change. I'd buy both versions if I ever saw them, but finding anything at brick and mortar retail has become near impossible in my opinion. This is just one more reason that I hate McFarlane and sincerely hope they lose this license when it comes up for renewal (although I know that's not going to happen).
Still no Geo-Force at my local Targets. I think I’m just going to go to eBay after the Holidays and be done with it. However, I did find the Platimum Batman from Batman/Spawn 1996, so that was a nice consolation prize.
