Definitely want all of the Collector's Edition Wave, as well as the Keaton Batman. Can't wait to see everything revealed at Toy Fair.
I think I'll find my way to picking up that Power Girl... and I'll probably find room for that Storm statue piece too. That's the first one I've seen that isn't totally ruined by "over inking" with just way too much black painted shadow.
@kryptonian I didn't either until I started doing a lot of my pre-orders on the site plus I have a slight advantage being a Platinum member.
Power Girl looks great; glad they didn’t phone in the costume. Definitely going in the JSA display.
Great showing for the McF team and good pace for the show. Power Girl looks good thick as she should be. I guess she didn't receive any face plates due the budget going to other parts for her body. 😉 PG being in the Collector Edition should have a Platinum with the others Captain Cold and Guy Gardner and probably will be in a case pack out on EE. I'm just curious what the Platinum's will be. Keaton and Bale look great and wanted by me and if the Fleisher Superman is a new body and not just the COIE body used again the McF team should consider reusing that body for some of the Superman figures done previously on the smaller bodies.
Definitely in for Begins Batman. That was a nice surprise to see in the reveals.
Otherwise the figures are easy passes for me. I felt like I was done with comic figures after seeing that Wildcat and indeed I find myself uninterested in these new releases. Power Girl is a nice sculpt but the rest of the JSA has been so botched that it’s not worth a pickup.
Seems that they defaulted to using Knightfall Batman and now the COIE Superman mold as their base Superman/Batman molds. Both good figures on their own, but sucks that they are so out of scale with each other. At least Fleischer looks good as a standalone.
Twice now that the renders were totally inaccurate. Wildcat had a much different head sculpt in the preview render, and Fleischer Superman was clearly the AC1000 body in preview. The body they went with for Fleischer is definitely the better choice.
Personally, I thought the "Toy Show" was terrible.
We were lured in with promises of "lots of" reveals, only to be forced to watch 40 minutes of advertising of existing products.
That's NOT a show. That's a commercial.
What's worse is that the only people watching this are people who already know about all these products, and see them daily on various social channels and toy websites. We really don't need to be forced to look at them again on a so-called 'toy show'.
And when the reveals finally did come, 90% of them were things we had already seen. And of the ones we hadn't seen before, one of them wasn't even technically new, it just had a new cape and accessories.
The thing is, I wouldn't have minded a few advertisements of existing products, but I feel like they went way too far. As it was, this just felt watching a shopping channel.
I won't be watching next week. I'll just wait for the images of new stuff to pop up on Instagram.
I'll snag Keaton and Begins Batman for sure. The cape on Keaton is gonna make him a really cool centerpiece for the display. I quite like the look of Begins Batman too, even if there's some liberties taken. I don't mind the inaccuracy of the neck articulation, personally. I know he couldn't move his neck in the movie, but I don't know how well that would translate into figure form nowadays. I know you can always just put the articulation at the base of the neck so his neck and head move as one (I wanna say that's how NECA did their Begins Batman, but I don't have it readily available to check), but either way, I'm cool with the compromise. I dig the Wolverine Batarang hand too; that's a fun way of getting some more interesting accessories in.
Would love for there to be a Demon Batman figure too, but I know that would wind up as an impossible to find chase like it did with the Movie Masters way back when. Though, I'd obviously love to see the rumored suited Scarecrow too; maybe they could throw him into a 2 pack with Demon Batman. Would love a Ra's as well, and at that point, all we'd need would be Talia. I know fan demand for her may not be as high as any of the other villains, but there's never been a TDKR Talia figure before. I can't imagine her likeness rights would be any more an issue than Phoenix, Nicholson, or Bale. Throw her in a 2 pack with a battle damaged Batman or another Bane or something. Could be a good way for fans who didn't get the coated Bane to get him. From the sound of things in the video, the Nolan figures are selling quite well, so hopefully the line will continue.

I don't disagree with this. And one thing I noticed and thought was interesting is that when doing the reveals on the Marvel mini-statue whatevers he had to stop and plug their movies first - which made it feel even more commercial-like.

Oh, there are people watch these things all the way through? Yeah, that's something I never do. I just wait for the images of the new stuff to pop up online--which, in most cases happens instantaneously. Yeah, any kind of livestreams where the toy companies parade out their reps and talk about stuff, I just skip. Give me the nitty gritty, give me the pics of the new product.
I'll buy Captain Cold, Guy Gardner and Power Girl with Streaky. Everything else is a pass for me.
Bring on the Superman figures!
I didn't watch "the McFarlane show" because, you know, I ain't got time for that. I just watched ToyShiz's video with all the reveals instead.
For me personally some really awesome reveals over the last few days. Starting with Orion and Wildcat, and now Captain Cold, Guy Gardner, Power Girl and Fleischer Superman. I'm in for all of these. Guy has been at the top of my want list for a while now. Need him for the 80's Justice League (with Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, etc.)
My only concern is the that Orion and Wildcat are Target exclusives, which used to be a win for me, as I never had a problem finding any of them in the past. However, Geo-Force has been quite elusive. You can't order him online, and I have yet to see him in store. I watch videos of a couple of toy hunters in my area, who go to several Target's a week, and I haven't seen them finding him either. There are plenty of Commander Steel, Sinestro, Metallo and Fire figures hanging around everywhere, but no Geo-Force to be found. So, I'm thinking the Orion and Wildcat may not be so easy to come by either. 😑
I think the difference with Geo-Force is that he's exclusive in the Collector section, which is a different team at Target and probably orders different quantities. Which is frustrating.
I hope no young boys are given Power Girl as a gift, we don't need more serial killers in this world.
Jokes aside, I'm withholding judgment until I see some pics of her in-hand. So far I find her looking a little dull. Todd says he can sell female figures but I haven't seen much proof in this entire toy line that he can do it without the help of an IP.
